I think the only thing we lack is a reciever who is super quick ala Desean Jackson or Terry Glenn of 2006. It seems to be taking too long for our bigger recievers to get open.

We need to get Miles involved...

I think we've shown that we can score quickly, or grind it out. We can be quick strike in the running or passing game and we can be versatile. Fans have to realize that you're going to have grit games every now and then. Even NE does with Galloway and Moss/Welker and co...

We need to learn how to win December type games...

Fans need to realize that EVERYONE won't get off every game... I don't think I've seen a Dallas team with this much versatility...

If there's anything to be happy about it's the consistency running the ball.

A good running game is what will take us deep into the playoffs.

I would say that it is obvious that Dallas is searching for some offensive consistency. I thought Bennett would be a huge factor. I also thought that Hurd or Austin would get some opportunities. Crayton has been a nice surprise however. Look, last year we were 3-0, and it looked like we were the best team in the league and look what happened. Hopefully, they can get some chemistry figured out, and use all the weapons I think we have.

.. I see some major problems with our offense. You can't watch that first half and not admit we miss a game breaker threat that enable us to vertical extend the field. We are not going to go far with Witten leading us in pass receptions and yards. The offense looked real basic and lacked big play potential outside of the long runs from Felix.

We will run into teams who will slow our running attack and I wonder if we will be able to counter with an ***ective passing attack. I'm glad we won but we are not a dominate looking team.

I think that was a symptom of not having enough time to throw. we had problems picking up their blitz and with their quickness, they wore down in the 2nd half.

also having so many big WRs, they often have problem getting separation on short crossing routes. smaller Wrs (like Glen, Welker, etc.) are much better from the slot and those short crossing routes. Taller WRs are long striders normally and have trouble getting separation on short routes, unless you are as good as Irvin was and use your hands and body to shield DBs, which Austin is not that good at.
