At least Julius can hold on to the ball, Id take him over 10 Portis' any day of the week. And SD's run defense isnt as bad as you think. Repost your idiocy on Tuesday after you've lost.

And your boy Bledsoe moved the ball against the second worst pass defense in the league last year. Suddenly that means you're gonna plunk 35 on us.

And I don't hear anyone on this board lamenting the fact that Julius Jones was held to under 4 yards a carry. Somehow he's the future centerpeice of your high-powered offense. Wow ... Congrats. :)

It was against the second best run defense in football, and he still had 93 yards and a TD

Portis, on the other hand, gained 121 yards and no TDs against the 21st ranked defense in the NFL.

Bye now :lmao2:

And with Moss, I could care less if he ever goes across the middle again. If Moss has better stats in every single category over Coles, but he never did any crossing routes and Coles did....I fail to see how that makes Coles the better reciever.
Because a crossing route is harder to cover than vertical routes, and Coles doesn't have 1/3 of the field taken away from him because he's not physical enough to make a catch in traffic.

It ultimately means more production, which is the entire point. Santana can be taken out of a game by a physical corner, Coles can't, at least not as easily.

And Moss has never had in any season "better stats in every single category" then Coles. Even last year when Coles was hurt and played half his season with Mark "Pea Shooter" Brunnell in Gibb's 3 yard and a cloud of dust *passing* offense, he still put up more catches and yards.

I loved Coles when he was here. I wish him the very best in NY.
If you can guarentee me that Coles will return to his early 2003 form (pre injury), then no we wouldn't be having this conversation. Because then Coles would be > Moss.
As it stands now, until he proves otherwise (which could very well happen). Moss > Coles.

Coles is physically a better player and has a better track record. I think it makes up for the toe, and hurt they are about equal players. If as you say the toe heals, then its not even a question.

But I haven't seen one shred of evidence to support your statement that Moss > Coles.

*shrug* I guess we'll see.

The league is going to feel sorry for your organization and give you the 1st and 2nd overall pick.

Please. You're spewing random stats to try and downplay what the Dallas offense did on Sunday? They scored 28 points against a playoff team on the road. These are the stats that matter.

How about your O?
Home field advantage? check
Terrible opponent? check
Portis running well? check
result? 9 points

Please try again.

I'm sure Bill Parcells is not taking The Commanders , Brunnell, Gibbs, Portis as lightly as some of you are. When a team gets into their brains another team is a pushover.....guess what? they get beat.

Should we beat the Commanders......Heck yes. We are as good or better than they are in almost every aspect of the game, with possibly one exception, ST.

But this game is not and will never be a gimmie. We had better bring our best game to the field Monday Night.

Honestly, this is a game where deep down, it makes me nervous just because it's a division rivalry.

We dominate them in just about every aspect.

I just don't think we or the league knows how good this Cowboys team is. I truly think we could possibly be looking at something special here with the Cowboys.

IMO, the only think that will spoil us this year is the lack of experience, bad offensive line play, and KEY injuries.

Brunell is shot. He has been for years. Even this year, when Skins fans are talking about his rejuvinated look in preseason, he managed an 85 QB rating. Did he even start a game? I don't think so, I think he compiled his whopping 85 rating in preseason playing against second and third stringers. Tony Romo put up a 93 rating against opposition of similar quality. We will abuse Brunell, he will look like the shell of a QB that he's been over the past few years, and we will crush the Skins. Unless we turn the ball over 5 or 6 times we'll win handily. If we are even in the turnover battle we should win by 14 pts.

The Skins barely beat the Bears. They couldn't score a TD against Chicago. They 'held' a rookie QB who was third on the depth chart two weeks ago to one TD with their super D. The fact that they barely eeked out a win against a team like the Bears, at home, shows exactly how far they've fallen. Against that Bears team Brunell managed a whopping 5 yards per attempt, with a pitiful 70 QB rating.

The Skins are in disarray, from the top of the organization to the bottom. Starting Brunell is just the last desperation move of a man who knows he and his team are one more dunk away from drowning. Gibbs will be gone by the end of the year and he'll take Brunell with him.

And what's all this talk about the Bears D? Did I miss something? Wasn't this the same D we scored 21 pts against last year? Did they do something miraculous in the offseason to turn themselves into a good defense?? I don't remember hearing much about their draft or their free agent acquisitions, could someone fill me in on why they should be much better than last year?

Or could it possibly be that the Bears D isn't great, but the Skins offense is simply pathetic??

I don't feel sorry for anyone in our division. As far as I'm concerned, they all suck.
I have to sit there and listen to this crap when we're losing, and I have to take it.

So when someone comes in this world over here called the great COWBOYSZONE, I have to defend my turf - and I hope that the Cowboys and our fans at Texas Stadium feel the same way come Monday night.

I want our fans to be like the falcons fans were the other night - and I want our defense to send QB Marky B into retirement early.

I want RW to turn their secondary into a burial ground.

I want JJ, to go thru their defense like armored tank, and I want Bledsoe to send fire at that secondary like an M16.

I hate the deadskins, and I can't hide it. Now if we happen to lose, you all might not see me for a weak or so..hahaha
