indifferent means you don't care

not that you don't care for

just don't give a crap

Exactly.

Not caring = hate.

What is not love is hate. You can call not-love by all sorts of names, e.g. indifference, but they'd all come under the same umbrella of "not-love"... i.e. hate. Hate might feel more active (e.g. they're in your thoughts), but indifference (don't care/not in thoughts) is just a more passive form of hate.

I have never thought that not caring about something equaled hating it.

I think indifference means you don't love it and you don't hate it; you just say who cares, ignore it, and/or move on.

Does anyone think this is worst than Vick killing dogs?
Some will because this is a human. Some won't because this is an accident and Vick did what he did on purpose.

Just wondering. I just think the loss of a human life is way more important than the loss of animal life.

I do too, but I will understand if someone thinks accident is less important than intent. Vick didn't accidentally kill those dogs.

Not caring doesn't = hate....

Well what Vick did was morally more significantly wrong but the death of that person is more important.

How is it so important when someone get killed in a car accident is a fairly common occurrence?

Is it more important because he was killed by someone famous?

You don't know the person who was killed from a can of paint...Where is the importance at? At the end of the day you will go on with your life....Keep in mind this is something you wouldn't have heard about if it didn't involve a NFL player.

I hear about human death and animal death. I read about the dog kennel or whatever that blew up and killed the dogs a few days back and couldnt give a rats ***, but if a human life was in that dog kennel when it blew then it would have been a different story I would have felt somewhat bad.

And nobody would have heard about the dogs if Vick wasnt doing it either, but we are all in this thread because someone famous did it.

I agree. But I will also be honest. If I had intentionally killed some dogs in a cruel fashion, and you had a careless accident that took someone's life like it sounds like Stallworth did...I would not be shocked at all if people held me more accountable for my intentions than your accident.

Thats true but I wouldnt also be surprised if more of the actual caring of the death went towards the careless accident, but your right about the accountability.

Animal lovers in this country are quite passionate. It is a fact of life. Would I say they love animals over people? Yeah, unfortunately I would in many cases.

One has nothing to do with the other.

Dante didn't have any intent to kill someone or something. Accident.

Michael Vick knew what he was doing. ******** trash.

Why would you feel bad for something that has nothing to o with you?

For once, I skipped to the end of a long thread instead of reading it from post one forward.

One question.

Just how the heck did Michael Vick a.k.a. dog killer get inserted into a thread about Stallworth's accident? What's the freaking tie-in?

Man, I love the Zone! :lmao2:

Shame shame. Not for Donte, but for the family and the victim. Hopefully he gets at least 20 years.

Nobody cared about dog fighting till a NFL player got caught doing it. Where was the outrage before? Vick didn't invent dog fighting.
