Hardy can't be viewed more than a emergency last second signing because we didn't draft a DE or someone gets hurt. So saying the door isn't closed isn't really saying anything at all because he is nothing more than a "in case of emergency" player.

If they re-sign Hardy, I will probably reduce my off-season panic-lurking rate from 2-3 hours a day to 20 minutes a day until draft day. For the sake of my home/work/personal life.....please put this overgrown, man-child back on the roster until Gregory can figure out if he wants weed or football.

I like it. Ideally you want to be able to field a competitive team before you go into the draft. If we got Hardy and barring injuries, I think the only true weakness left on the team is SS.
