Marinelli certainly made it sound like he still wanted him and we've done really nothing to fix the pass rush.

We've replaced Mincey with a prospect and we've upgraded Hayden.

You get Hardy and you get Bosa, and I think you've done enough to take this pass rush to the next level.

I think we've done enough in the secondary to really help this defense (if we get Robinson). I'd like to see us draft Karl Joseph, but after that I think the defense would be set.

1. Bosa
2. Joseph
3. Collins
4. Prescott
4. Tuerk

I'd be really happy with that.

I like it. Ideally you want to be able to field a competitive team before you go into the draft. If we got Hardy and barring injuries, I think the only true weakness left on the team is SS.

I address that by drafting Karl Joseph. That being said, I still would say QB2 is a true weakness. RT is a weakness depending on what happens with Green.

Times 2 here. I think with Lawrence, Mayowa, Russell, Gregory and Hardy we would be pretty solid at end. Irving, Crawford, Thornton on the inside. It's starting to take shape. Could take another end in the 1st or 2nd round. But signing Hardy could allow us another year to find the next guy.

I'd really be happy with bringing back Hardy and drafting a stud DT like Rankins. We'd add another interior pass rusher and enough extra size to possibly be a force against the run.

I'm in total agreement about Joseph. Might be my favorite player in the draft. Would love a Wentz/Goff in Rd1 and Joseph in Rd2 draft.

Jerry said regarding Mayowa: he will get playing time. He is the Mincey replacement not the Hardy replacement.

He said they anticipated having young players at the pressure positions.

I certainly won't mind Ramsey or one of the QBs but the meltdown over a Bosa pick would be worth the price of admission.

So Mayowa is the Mincey replacement and Russell getting more playing time might possibly be the J. Crawford replacement?

I would probably still get Bosa. There wouldn't be the pressure for him to deliver day 1 and if Hardy or Gregory flame out, we're fine, we just move Lawrence to the weakside. This move actually allows you to keep him on the strong side if you sign Hardy.

You could really keep the snaps low, which would hopefully give us a fresh pass rush in the post season.

The only thing better than the meltdown would be the "I told you so's"

My favorite players are Rankins and Joseph. I think they'd completely our defense. But I wouldn't be upset with going QB at #4. Otherwise, I'd be upset if we spent #4 on Bosa, Ramsey or Jack. We can trade back 10 spots, net extra picks, and get a player who would make more of a contribution defensively.

Russell needs to show he can play before he can be counted on anything. He was getting blown off the ball pretty bad and came up empty when it came to counters.

The few highlights I have seen of Mayowa have him on the weakside. Crawford, Irving and Russell are all SDE/3T types in Marinelli's rotation. Crawford seems an inside guy to me and a good one.

I really like the idea of a Bosa/DLaw starting pair. I think they would be able to play both roles on the fly on any down. Really keep defenses guessing. Mayowa, Gregory, and the aforementioned ends would provide excellent depth.

please. Just say no to Hardy.

If what we've heard is true, then from a team cohesion standpoint then nothing good can come of that.

How can some of you not see that?

Scales: Oh, there are always choices. And the Cowboys, without saying a lot, are saying a ton about their desire to bring back Greg Hardy. When you get one sentence answers from Stephen Jones and Jason Garrett for any question about Hardy, that's all you need to know. As I've written in previous chats, the silence is deafening!

He was awful against Atlanta. As soon as they figured it out they went right at him. Was his first action though.
