If the coaches can't handle Hardy, rent Jimmy to come back and show them how. His problems are not that bad. They will be lucky to get 25 sacks without him unless they replace the DC.

Most every mock draft has him going to us making such claims ludicrous. It's almost as if we are being set up to be unhappy.

Making what claims ludicrous? There is a very large segment of the fan base, including the majority of the Draft Zone here, who want nothing to do with him. If we take him and when he becomes a very good player, there will be plenty of "I told you so's" going around.

You don't build SB winning football teams with choir boys.. Gotta have a few pipe hitting, convicted felon, thug types to give your team that mean edge.

Do you think Jimmy would've thought twice about bringing Hardy back??

Again every draft publication seems to have us taking him. I take the backlash to be more than a little hipsterism.

I am one of only a handful of people that support the pick. If your opposition is a minority I fail to see how 'plenty' fits the bill.

I'm not one for I told you so myself. I supported the Martin pick and thought he was going to be awesome despite a tepid board response and before now I haven't brought it up. I want what I write to stand on its own merit as opposed to bluster.

Not that bad?

Seriously?

It was about as bad as it can get with marginal production to boot.

Beat a woman. Got into sideline altercations with a coach and teammate. Was perpetually tardy, spent a lot of time out partying, and attempted to undermine the head coach, even Calling the guy out in front of the team.

Dude is just not worth it.

It seems odd that many players including Sean Lee said that he was no problem last year. I will take his word.

He (Bosa) is not my first pick at #4 but it is not because he isn't the "sexy" pick or he's unexciting. I just prefer the QB or elite safety.

Bosa reminds me of Ed Jones, he will never be the type player to take over a game but he will be strong against the run, he will always be putting restless pressure on the QB, and he will make plays.

If Bosa is the pick, the Cowboys will have their Zack Martin of the defense. It is highly likely he will not be an All-Pro but he will have an impact.

I guess they are using the same logic as last year............... get him cheap when no one else really will want him.

Absolutely! Even gruel looks awfully appetizing when you are starving.

Yes. Because Jimmy recognized players who could help his team...and those who could hurt it. He would not tolerate me-first players like Owens and Hardy. They do not help teams win, they prevent them from doing so. The fact that neither Owens nor Hardy have won anything of importance is not coincidence, it's not because they happened to play in the wrong place at the wrong time, it is because of them. Dwight Howard is a perfect example of this type of player - guys who tease you with great physical ability, but can never be viewed as positive influences or assets in any team environment because of their poisonous attitudes.

We need a crazy violent man at DE just as long as we don't pay too much for him.
