I know lots wanted him here.

Mods please edit name in title to Green- Beckham.

Not suprised at all. The comments from the Titans camp is that Beckham still makes the same mistakes as his rookie year and has shown little to no improvement since then. Meanwhile the Eagles are desperate for wide receivers, them and the Rams are in the running for worst wideouts in the NFL. Still hilarious that the Eagles let Maclin leave Philly even though they had the cap room. Thank you Chip Kelly haha.

For a bag of peanuts. WTH!

There must be something real wrong with this guy to give up on him so quickly.

When your WR corp is as bad as Philly's, it's worth the risk.

DGB certainly has talent, that's for sure. But he's got a ten cent head.

Apparently Randle is uninterested in playing so it makes sense for Philly.

But when one of the worst WR corps in Tennessee has no use for you, that says a lot about you..

Sucks to be him. He now gets to live in that trash heap of a city and play for the shitbirds.

Eagles fans already praising Roseman as if he pulled off the steal of the century

Now THAT ended up as a terrible 2nd round draft pick.

The guy they traded was total trash so whether DGB is trash or not, it's probably worth the risk to them.

So the Titans trade a WR after having spent a 2nd on him?
And the Eagles trade a OL after having their starting RT get suspended for 10 games?

Are we sure Chip still isn't working for them?

Maybe the Eagles are trying to live up to their legendary status....:igglestrophy:

its a pretty good trade honestly
For the Titans maybe.

The Titans are getting a contributing player who could nicely help their depth.
The Eagles are getting a player that was sitting at either the 6th or even 8th best WR in Camp and almost certainly headed for the chopping block.
He was literally running with he4th unit
It must be between the ears, because it always seemed like he had good physical tools.

If both players reach their potential, Green-Beckham is a far superior player and talent than Dennis Kelly.

That being said, due to his issues, Green-Beckham is the kind of guy who is out of the league in 2 years, and Dennis Kelly is the kind of guy who hangs around for 8-10 years as a backup.

I don't see much to lose from the Eagles standpoint in this trade, because Kelly is a guy that you are constantly looking to replace. If they can hit on Green-Beckham, they have a matchup nightmare on the perimeter. If they miss, they gave up a journeyman lineman.

For the Eagles, you trade a garbage swing tackle for a young 2nd year WR that has all the physical tools to be a good WR in this league.
