You still believe in him, don’t ya?
Actually, I do MountaineerCowboy, and I don't blame him for the weather, for his bank account, for the roster depletions before the season, for the type of drink in the booth while on IR, for the BS job our GM has done, or for another team's punter getting minimal work.

I blame him for mistakes in games and I understand he ain't playing defense or coaching as well to have critiques be exclusively on him, alone. I don't eliminate him or others when I view more than one player on our team when examining mistakes and flaws. Not sure why I wouldn't believe in him, having seen what we have.....Rush and Lance to compete.

But I do understand your take on him. You typically and exclusively spotlight him, as far as players. And that's ok. Keep do you, as you don't believe in him. It's ok. The QB you prefer, will arrive one day.

I'm glad you still believe in the loser.

He's the QB fans like you (and Jerry) deserve.

Another Super Bowl winning coach is now on the market. Wouldnt that irk Iggle fans if he were to come here and win a Super Bowl? Great offensive mind, QB whisperer, may help straighten Dak out. What say you?
How about Jerry sells the team? Doesn't matter who the coach is

No, no, no MountaineerCowboy......I just assumed with the Nick Sirianni avatar......my fault. No need for hostility and name calling.......woo-sah! You can be angry about Dak.....that's your issue, but ok.

Now for a serious question.......what kind of scenario would please you regarding the starting QB for the Dallas Cowboys. What would make you happy? Just curious, you may be on to something.

Exactly lots of one and done guys although you know what at this point I'm indifferent whoever they keep or fire or hire we have no control over....Jerod Mayo axed after one and done season and that not rare of a list. They somehow are being commended for firing this guy right away why we haven't fired Mike McCarthy but shouldn't they be completely blasted for hiring him too quickly in the first place? Is admitting a mistake make you somehow admirable compared to Jerry taking his time I mean in 2020 Mike McCarthy it turned out was the best hire out of all the other head coaches hired that year he has the best record by far the best choice even though a lot of people around here didn't like it he was by far the best choice go look there's a whole list of 2020 head coaches they all fail within the first three years they didn't get close to what his record was here working with Jerry Jones as well that has to be noted he gets bonus points for that right?

And I imagine a lot of these guys had regular GMs and regular non meddling owners and somehow they got it wrong...

Mike was at least mildly successful with next team, why would Doug be viewed as better?

Well of course you have to separate though the head coach from the offensive coordinator there's no way i want him back as the OC.. Maybe there's some kind of conditions Mike McCarthy they're discussing what could have been done better that's why they're taking their time maybe they're gonna decide on firing schottenheimer and hiring a whole new offensive staff including a new play caller and then Mike McCarthy can return in his very familiar role is just the head coach...

But on the Washington game did we really want him to win that game I mean we literally went in there with the white flag up I mean playing Trey Lance and more backups than we have all year and we almost beat A-Team needing a win for a better spot in the playoffs and they needed the last play at the end of the game to do so and kudos to Marcus Mariota because he was throwing Dimes and Deron bland is being fried for having some tight coverage on maclaurin all day and they just made the plays but i thought we were happy they lost the game..

But if you're talking about the decisions with the play calling of course I don't think his decision as a head coach are that different than most coaches people just think they are but we watch it all over the league I mean hell the lions get away with that stuff all the time or sometimes they're criticized for it literally the game that we had sometimes the head coach does against the green things and Dan Campbell is one of those guys and we see it all around the league people being questioned how about Raheem Morris getting fried in Atlanta it happens...
Yeah, Mariota looked like Lamar Jackson out there against us. I think McCarthy was trying to win. I was referring to the scoring play by Washington at the end.

Washington had one more shot at the endzone with time enough to kick the FG if they didn't score. Dallas cannot allow them that luxury. The DBs needed to hold the WRs and take the penalty. Make Washington choose. Don't give them both options. Other teams have done this. Washington could still have gone for the TD, but wouldn't have had a FG option if they didn't get it. There is also no way of knowing if Dallas would have won if they went into OT. But still, what if that was a playoff game? McCarthy is the head coach. Go talk to your DC.

No, but neither can Nick Foles, and Pederson won a Super Bowl with him. Of course, the Eagles built a team that even Nick Foles could succeed with. That's not going to happen with Jerruh.

We just need to find a coach who can with a few great players, some good ones and multiple weak links.

I get what you're saying but I don't think they were treating this the same as if it were a playoff game I don't think your decisions being made were all about winning the game if it was Cooper rush would have started, and I think they would've had a different game plan.

i don't think any of those coaches wanted OT they got aggressive they made the plays... i'm not blaming the play calling or clock management, it was the execution on that drive like Dono stopping thinking MM got stopped and than allowed him to run that long play inside the 5..if hes doing his job that not long run maybe not even a first, somehow he though MM was sacked..

still the irony being upset we lost when most wanted a better draft slot..we played well enough to win played competitive game and lost on the last play, couldn't have drawn it up much better if you were ok with loss but made Washington fight until the end against our backups. IMHO Washington fan base and their players need to be worried we put that in the back of their minds they could barely beat us, and going into the playoffs they did not look good.
