Doug Pederson challenge against GB

Did anyone catch the challenge last night by Pederson....2 yard pass play around midfield early 3rd qtr....He won the challenge making it 2 and 10, instead of 2 and 8...left himself no challenges left for rest of game that was close at the time....Explanation given, situational football...rather have them 2 and 10 and field position....SAY WHAT??? what a moron.... if Garrett did this the mob would still be forming...

Please don't let the Eagles fire this guy....he is priceless (and clueless)!!!

It's a lot simpler than that, I think. He started against the Bears, Browns and Steelers (bad pass D, no Le'Veon Bell). He was always playing with a lead in those games. Then the schedule got a lot harder.

Good point. I didn't consider his first 3 Games. he went 3-0

He threw plenty of mid range passes against the packers. Was actually looking pretty good on those until his interception.

The league figured out they can't stretch the field and have a mediocre run game.

Also keep in mind, his defense and ST has come back to reality. A big reason for their early success. Oh and Sproles!

Talent yes, though there have been some talented teams. He HAD to have the play calling taken away for him to be successful. Like a CEO - be Strategic and let the other staff implement.

Most posters, me included at one point wanted Garrett gone. It was a frequent topic the last few years. Posters wanted him out as recent as this offseason.
