Dak carried the team to several wins. Washington, Philly, Pitt, Minnesota, Tampa. 5 comebacks and 5 game winning drives orchestrated by Dak. He was money with the game on the line.

Like you just did to mine?

lol. I wasn't the one giving so called lessons on how to react to the article or podcast, as you did with this... "Please listen to the doomsday podcast. It's a minor lesson on overreacting to news clips."

The problem is you assumed I'm trying to teach others. It was a minor lesson for ME on how small clips of larger interviews can be taken out of context.

Sorry I triggered you

So the narrative on Dak is he's a product of a good team with a great running game etc. Ignore the fact we were 4-12 the previous year with most of the same team and one of the top lines and running games in the league.

How is this any different from Russell Wilson when he came into the league? He is and was treated much differently. They had the top D in the league and a great running game.

Seems like some bull...

You are literally doing the same thing I was talking about. You just put half my post in bold without taking into context the last sentence.

Let's agree to disagree

He's right. He didn't "have to win games". He simply did it. He helped this defense not the other way around.
There is the opposite of the premise..

DAK didn't lose games either.

Not becuz of his play anyway.

He didn't make the mistakes Wentz did..

he didn't progress as slowly as LA's rookie QB.

Paxton Lynch with Denver had no victories either.

DAK helped the team win 13.

Team.

DAK is about the team and deflects too much buzz on his play.

DAK wins becuz he executes the team plan.

Not the DAK plan.

No, you said the running game, or Zeke, won most of the games. The record for the TEAM was 7-1 when Zeke didn't break 100. So obviously the didn't rely solely on him.

Dak had the most outstanding rookie QB season ever by most people's opinions, especially based on expectations, yet 'fans' of the team itself will try to downplay it as much as possible. Calling him a bus driver while he went for 20+ TDs, less than 5 INTs, over 60% completion and 13 wins is nonsense. Two vets barely got a win last year, so it's not like anyone can do it.

That's not what I said. Try again. And if you think running game == Zeke alone, it explains a lot about how you view the game.

Low INTs and high completion is kind of a trademark of (but not exclusive to) bus drivers btw (and 20 TDs is not some high bar). Nobody said anyone can do it. Straw man straw man straw man.

I'm on record as not being the biggest Dak fan but I think Peterson argument is laughable. Dak has exceeded expectations as far as I'm concerned and this year will be more proof before I'm sold

As a human being he's a great guy and a credit to the franchise unlike some of the other players serving suspensions and such. Always liked a gunslinger but that's just me but I guess Dak just has a different chill style. I wish him continued growth and success for the teams sake

What, he has to get between 4,000-4,500 passing or maybe a higher passer rating before you're sold? Or more team wins?
