I always enjoy your clips! You should hang around this site more!
Thanks haley. I'm here for good. I quit the other site. Too many control freaks with no respect. It's a zoo over there. This site is refreshing. Kinda like going from swimming in the ocean, to an in ground pool. :muttley:

Ops, no animated "clips" permitted. So ya have to put up with my comments lol

It's not that I'm sensitive... I just don't like Pederson. Or his bile green team. Or that city.

I don't like anyone from the Eagles talking about the Cowboys, good or bad.

I do see that he was trying to be relatively positive with his comment. I don't care. Shut up.

I don't have a problem with what he said.

Cowboys are a good team. Dak didn't have to carry the team or deal with suspect play at various points throughout the season. Doesn't knock his play at all. He was able to play with a certain amount of confidence that the guys around him would catch his passes, wouldn't fumble in critical moments, wouldn't give up a big defensive play or cause a back breaking penalty. And that's a good thing.

“He didn’t have to win the games for them,” Pederson said of Prescott with the Cowboys, who lost in the divisional playoffs after a 13-3 regular season. “He knew that he had a good defense, a tremendous offensive line, a great runner. He had some veteran players that he could rely on and he learned that early, as soon as he had the opportunity to play and that was from day one. That’s something that a young quarterback sometimes, takes them awhile to figure out the game that way. That’s the impressive thing is he learned to handle that business that well, utilize the people around him, and understand that he didn’t have to go win the game.”

He obviously meant this as a compliment in a way to not discredit Carson Wentz. I am guessing Pederson checked out during his first matchup against Dak where he came alive late in the game and stole a victory with his clutch, late game heroics.

Hopefully the competitor in Dak reads this as a NFC East foe trying to downplay his accomplishments.

Dak did a lot more than drive a bus. He was a huge upgrade over Weeden and Cassell.

So I don't know if this is just your shtick or if you're serious. Alex Smith is a 10 year vet. He definitely wasn't winning games early on with the Niners. Prescott is what Smith is after one season as starter?

You're saying Dak didn't win a single of the 13 games? He just happened to have the right plays and right players to come back from those games? And this is only controversy for us despite him winning rookie of the year.

Come on man

Alex Smith didn't win when he was on crappy teams? You're kidding! I'm shocked.

Btw, Dak won 13 games...just like every other member of the Dallas Cowboys. He did not win any on his own. Neither has Tom Brady.

He ended up having to win at least half of them. GB, Pitt, Eagirls, SF, Minn, Skins.....*** is this clown talking about? His best game was the playoff game against GB that he pretty much won for us minus our horrible coaching staff.

LOL. GB, Eagles, SF, Minn? Two of those games he was awful in. The other 2 he was very shaking in the first half, and the running game was the driving force (this could be said about the running game for pretty much every game this season).

What a stupid comment coming from an NFL coach. The Cowboys had the same offensive line in 2015 and won four games. The defense was decent at best. With the exception of Zeke, Dak had the same weapons the four quarterbacks that started in 2015 had.

In conclusion, Prescott was the difference between 4-12 and 13-3. And you don't need a PHD in football to figure it out.

The entire quote was quite complementary.

Why are people so sensitive?

They must not have listened to the podcast for context...

He was nothing but complementary and he was watching his son play in a baseball game during the interview to boot.

Nothing to see here.

Dak was as much a lift for his team as his team was for him. It's a fact that can't be denied, despite what Pederson might claim.

Wrong on so many levels. I don't think you even read the quote.
