So true. He's like a level 4 tornado when he's on his game but when the staff sees him disappear for stretches, they're reluctant to leave him in. I'm not at all convinced he has the stamina to maintain his intensity the way a guy like Randy White used to but when Irving is "on," he's a holy terror.

Been saying since that GB game - David Irving can be the best defender on this team. That second half against GB - He was un-blockable. That was the type of performance by a DLineman you can't forget. He has had other stretches where you say - My God this guy can't be stopped. I am anxious to see if he can put together a full season. If he does the Cowboys are going to have some really tough decisions to make.

Agree, but also the coaches can be partly the blame for not using him as often as they should have. Well, so it seemed.
