Looks accurate, before last year I had him a bit higher, but for what we payed him he was garbage which has moved him down.

At least he wasn’t costing much, unlike those on the roster who are breaking the cap and we know will not lead the Cowboys out of this hellhole.

Those are the ones I’d be more concerned about.

We have a severe lack of depth for sure. Mostly on defense to include the secondary. Diggs may never be what he was. Actually our entire secondary is pretty weak overall. If we don't generate a pash rush the secondary will really be exposed. Course if our D Tackles don't hold up the sondary won't matter much as teams will just run it down out throats.

We are turning into the Bengals. We will need to average 28 points a game just to win half our games. No one is scared of our D unless Micah suits up and gets 20 us sacks this year.

They have to feel relieved though.

It is stronger than that snap shot up to here. Don't anticipate failure as a gut feeling. That has to instead be earned...and often is in growth.
The haters here anticipate failure which is something that is unhealthy and not to be confused with have a fear of failure which is healthy. I hope I don’t need to explain why.

Did you notice Dak had nothing to say after the team lost those few games, but when they finally one the last one, here he comes, mouthing off about how good they are.
You just want him to say the team sucks so he’s as miserable as you are. Misery loves company.

These were two guys we signed after the initial free agent signing spree that I was excited about, and nobody else seemed to be. Glad they made the cut.

I think both can help.

What a total mess and a circus this franchise is. As Jerry becomes older, so does his incompetence as an NFL manager. This season (and most likely a few more to come) are lost already

JJ didn't suit up when the 13-3 2007 team lost at home to NY
JJ didn't suit up and choke the game away at GB
JJ didn't choke the game away out in SF in 2023. The QB did
Right...but the thing is...these teams all went out in the divisional round. They didn't even get CLOSE to the real thing. It can therefore be argued that decisions Jones made with personnel (like choosing Prescott over Romo for the 2016 playoff season) and coaches has in fact affected the final product. 2023 left Prescott without weapons in the end. Gallup was never again what he was pre-injury...and they paid him before they could find out. The trade of Amari Cooper was one of THE dumbest things that the Jones clan ever did. Owens, Bryant. Each time these top guys were run off, the WR corps took a big step back the following year. They took too long to rebuild the o-line under Romo. It bit them on the azz at Minnesota in '09...and it also shortened Romo's career.

I remember going to Oxnard and he was fielding punts.

He fumbled one and everyone laughed it off. No big deal. A few kicks later, and another fumble. Around this same time Parsons fielded a few punts no problem.

I just went back home thinking this is the circus and perplexed what Dueces actual role was going to be.

Make a Wish Kid.

This is great....my passion and dedication are similar. Been a fan for over 40 years. Any family or friends will tell you IK often tells them, family, Cowboys and God are all on the same level to me. Don't ask me to choose one over the others........LOL

Hype as in chatter on this board, not his draft position. And yes, physical measurables.
I don’t remember him being hyped.

the board(shrug)

Measurables? Height, arm length and etc Did anyone get a 40 time on him? I’m guessing high fives, lower sixes with zero hips. Safety

This was the draft where Surtain and Horn were taken before the Parsons pick. Really wanted either of those two.

I’ll give Izzy props for lasting this long. They drafted two CBs before him and he managed to hang on longer than both of them.

They really wanted to get a corner in that draft and went 0-3.

Anybody that wants to list Dak as "average" or "below average" should be forced to watch the entire 2002 Cowboys season.

Guys like Hogeboom and Carter were average. Guys like Chad Hutchinson and Steve Pelluar were below average. We've had pretty good quarterbacking for the past 20 years but if that is all the Cowboys football that you have been exposed to then I understand your confusion.

This one’s a bit of a surprise to me. Seemed to have a decent camp, and is fairly versatile. With our problems at nickel, I’d have thought we’d be keeping him.

Must be planning to sign someone cut from elsewhere.
