It appears that these coaches really looked at the game film of these players from the pre season and they did what they were supposed to do. In recent years it felt like they just kept guys just to keep them, even though there was a player at that position that out played a player who has made this team before.

The nepotism aspect seems to be gone, good example would be cutting Izzy! He's been on this team for several years now, but he was outshined by younger guys, it is what it is, I love it going forward. Please give your thoughts! Good job to the coaches/scouts etc!
 
There's no reason why we're not getting these guys the ball, and or why we're forcing the ball to players that aren't these 3. The offensive game plan should be solely to get them the ball early and often. These other wrs (Tolbert/Flournoy) better be glad they made the team, and play their role when/if they're called upon. These guys need to be team players and realize that our main weapons are top priority! Put your egos and feelings aside!

Turpin of course can get some passes, will probably get a few handoffs too! I'm excited to see what the big 3 does! Please give your thoughts!
 
Restrepo was injured when he ran that 40. I watched him at the U for years. He was great. Real speed is 4.53-4.58, but turns on a dime. He weighs close to 200 lbs, so can take a hit. Has hands of glue. Great slot receiver, always gets open. A more powerfully built Cole Beasely. Sign him to practice squad. Have him as insurance for other WR's getting injured. That is how Drew Pearson became a starter in his rookie year, everyone ahead of him got injured and the rookie free agent from Tulsa started a stellar career.
 
Grier will in all likelihood get put on the PS and if Dak gets a multi-week injury they can call up Grier. However, whichever game Dak got hurt in Milton would have to finish it out.
 
Jerry did nothing but expand that league into the titan it’s become now even if they didn’t see the vision then
 
Outside of Gholston, I don't think any of those mid round guys still are in the league/were consistently on 53s after leaving here.

Simi was a Final Cut by Arizona and surprised some because he had a solid preseason

I vaguely remember Booth in college(Clemson). Made a few good open tackles, like the opposite of Diggs lol

Curious to see if he's a long term 53 or just a guy to hold onto till the main guys are truly healthy.

Dude had the size and speed, just couldn't develop and quickly fell behind Tolbert and Brooks IIRc
IIRC he did play ST too.
