He is not going anywhere for 3 years.
I doubt that’s the case.

i doubt that. He’s on 5th year option and could be tagged twice but you’d be paying him more that it would cost to just sign him. Second tag gets really expensive. It’s 120%. If Jerry isn’t gonna sign him then trade him. Jerry has so screeed this whole thing up and the league is gonna be looking at his attempts to bypass the agent. This could be the second time he’s did that and the fine may be mighty hefty

Make him play or lose 1 million per game. Tag him after the season going into the draft and Trade when his value will be higher. Micah isn’t giving up 1 million per game. Make him mad and let him take out his anger at Jerry on the league. We get more picks and he gets a new team. Win win situation.

It would actually be cheaper, you would just have to pay him up from each year vs kicking it down the road.

Playoff success . I thought everyone knew financial statements were not why people tune in on Sundays . Did I have to clarify this ?

The lament is that Jerry's culture was not for winning. But you define winning wrong.
Jerry's culture IS all about winning. Winning in that Return on Investment (ROI) stay within the targeted range on each balance sheet. He needs game-wins enough to keep the product viable but ROI-wins is where the real money is.
The culture Jerry builds is for the merchandising not for the scoreboard. That is his "win".

Culture the BS way, sleeping on the sidelines, now that’s a culture we never saw before
What do you think Coach Jimmy would have done to brat baby seeing him acting a fool?

I still say regardless of this contract stuff, CeeDee is the best player on the team. Top 3 WR at least who does everything -- all around player, tough, comes up big in big moments, takes incredible care of himself to maximize his talent, no holes in his game (unlike Micah's run defense).
See. This is what bothers me.

Tell me how Micah who was in the 99th percentile in college at stopping the run, comes to Dallas and sucks at it?

Is it Micah? Or is this team refusing to use him the way he should be ??

Probably because he wasn't on the edge going against LTs more or less full time in college.

Micah understands that sacks is what gets you the bag.

Jimmy tolerated Michael Irvin who attempted to murder a teammate at the team facility.

Jimmy’s barometer of what is acceptable has always been subjective and self-serving in the extreme.

These days you have to be cautious opining a negative opinion on national TV or else…
.
What do you think? Is Parsons a generational player?
I don’t think he is yet. Does he have the talent to be . Perhaps , we’ve seen some glimpse of greatness.

So, are you implying that Coach Jimmy would tolerate brat baby's actions? Is that what you think? Irvin was a total devoted Cowboys, Micah not so much.

Okay the laying on the table is pretty bad. So was the nachos. His behavior is unprofessional and immature. Why he thinks acting like this will get him more money is so adolescent thinking it’s ridiculous.
So you put this together with Jerry's irrepressible desire to always open his mouth in front of a microphone and you have the mess we are in.

I’m sure jimmy would address it.

I guarantee you he wouldn’t just cut him or ship him out for cents on the dollar like many here are suggesting.
