So true .......I remember seeing a stat of Dak being like top 3 or 5 QBs throwing into tight coverages.
He has no choice. He survived doing that. But it's much harder to do that. As opposed to a QB throwing constantly into single coverage because the D is selling out to stop the run. Look how good Tony was in 2014.

You poor little pathetic thing, just have to throw insults if someone doesn't agree w/ you. Sign of the weak. I am sorry that you can't take simple conversation.
Poor...how many times have you filed on $100,00. Talk about Jerry and cry alright with the loud snores.

This is the type of pickup most teams would make. The Cowboys could use additional competition at QB, and they get a solid young prospect who has been with your week 1 opponent for the last four months. Why not pick him up, give him a week to audition for you, and also pick his brain on the Eagles?

Will Grier is not worth missing out on this opportunity for IMO.
Exactly....... It's for no other reason than inside info on the Eagles (lol)

Respect .... ... Sign language insults and NO football. :flagwave:
I mean is it football when we are asking an LB to take on an offensive lineman and wondering why the middle of the DLine is soft? Since that Rams RB they pulled off the streets before the playoff game ran for 123 yards and 2 TD's? I mean it was a problem before then but so far since 2019 the issue has been allowed to languish with the same claim that "well we can't find DT's" - but yea, maybe we can ask the LB-ers to do a few more bench presses and some P90x to help them take on dudes who outweigh them by over a 100 lbs. Should work out, I mean it hasn't for the last decade but this time will be "different."

This is the last week they get to act like this.

Best believe they’re going into overdrive with their delusions.
I don't have a problem with a peep hole squint...you handle those yourself. Never are impressive. Why?

Uh, Bud quite running from football discussion. All you present is attitude...as are the many returned comments that include football and are current.

Both the offense and defense will become very tough and control clock, field positions, and score before mid season.

Hold your wrinkled 30 year calendar...but you are already in mid season form crying. Not uncommon in your comments.

Clock it NOW!

https://insidethestar.com/cowboys-secondary-pass-rush-a-surprise-2025-powerhouse

The Dallas Cowboys’ secondary was inconsistent in 2024, ranking 17th in pass defense (218.1 yards per game allowed) and giving up too many explosive plays downfield.

Their struggles in coverage cost them in critical moments, even with one of the league’s most talented pass rushes. But 2025 may finally be the turning point.

With Trevon Diggs, Kaiir Elam, DaRon Bland, and rookie Shavon Revel Jr., Dallas is shaping a secondary that could be both deep and dangerous.

Paired with Micah Parsons and a front that finished 3rd in the NFL in sacks (52), the Cowboys have the makings of a surprise top defense.
The keyword is "makings"....lots have to go right in order for this to happen, as there are more injury question marks right now than there are answers. At this time, all a fan can do is hope the injured come back sooner than later, and the existing don't go down as did their predecessors

Make one smart observation and I will comment then...keep up unproven tears.

Sorry, I'm not an insultive attitude pessimist. I like my Cowboys! :starspin:

Hey, I ain’t mad at ya.

It’s still the offseason for one more week. This is y’all’s time to shine before reality hits.

If you stick around for a few more weeks or get quiet like the others tend to do is up to you.

Who is still a major injury beyond our linebacker? 5 players just made it back.

Last night I saw Veach being interviewed in the booth during the Bears Chiefs ps game. Stark doesn't begin to describe the difference between the Cowboy way and the right way.

Also saw Mahomes, Kelce and many other starters grind out the first three possessions.

One of the interesting parts was him and Stephen talking about coaches. Stephen being more of an X’s and O’s believer, Jerry not so much. Gave me a tiny hope that maybe the next GM night actually look at what’s important in a HC

I am curious to see what happens to the Cowboys when Jerry gets called home (assuming that I manage to outlive Jerry and Stephen outlives Jerry). I have a feeling that when given complete control that Stephen will be a slightly different cat than his dad.

Never ever ever said major injury....Diggs coming back from a 2 year injury...our Rookie's health is still iln quesiton....Overshown question mark. When/if all 3 come back it will be huge for the D, and we have to hope nobody else goes down. Of course, we also have to hope that when they come back, they can stay healthy. Thus, injury is still a concern until proven otherwise. And yeah, 11 is a bit of a concern still as well
