We all know it is something he would play through if he got his bonanza big deal, but that doesn't mean he's not having tightness. Who you can't sign (b/c they're already on another team's roster), you might be able to finagle a trade for... and you trade from positions of strength, of course, as a rule.

One comes off the street to war in six weeks or MOS training. One learns by experience. In football, time on the carpet in games.

There actually is a pretty strong roster that at a minimum is competitive on the roster for defensive line.

One can spend a life time figuring where fail can enter a picture.

In this scheme and under the current staff, the current defensive tackles combined with the current linebackers will stabilize the run defense and put games in the hands of the offense.

That is using reason and player knowledge instead pessimism and years running doubt. Sorry...that lies to an observer.

What did the Ravens do to the Dallas defense? That is most current and indicative when added to the real starters.

The defense that will be shown at least 60% of the time and show a series of faster defensive linemen and still be quite effective. Linebackers can fill in on double teams and off the line of scrimmage, speed still stops a run hole.

I seriously doubt that Micah was "asleep" in that last playoff contest. Just faking his back injury, more than likely. It actually amounted to an outrageous action on his part. Maybe a trade is best, depending largely upon how well it might benefit this team's future. Micah made a fool of himself, for sure.

Evidently, he's as much of a cancer as Jerry is, when push comes to shove. One of those is enough, much less two. We'll shall see how this situation develops, in due time. The end result might well be best for all concerned. Basically, this is just a toxic situation, as it now exists. It must not continue.

Nothing against Crosby, good player but I just dont see that at all. Crosby is only about 5-10lbs heavier than Parsons (depending on the source) so he sees similar issues in the run game as Parsons. His pass rush metrics are worse than Micahs too.

For example in 2024:

• Micah had 12 sacks on 392 pass rush snaps
  • 1 sack per 32 snaps
  • 19% pressure rate (75 total pressures)
• Crosby had 7.5 sacks on 431 pass rush snaps
  • 1 sack per 57 snaps
  • 12% pressure rate (53 total pressures)

2023

• Micah had 14 sacks on 463 pass rushes
  • 1 sack per 33 snaps
  • 21% pressure rate (99 total)
• Crosby had 14.5 sacks on 623 snaps
  • 1 sack per 43 snaps
  • 12.7% pressure rate (79 total)

Parson also had DeMarcus Lawrence on the other side that O’s had to pay attention to. Vegas hasn’t really had anyone opposite Crosby to help.
Should be interesting to see if Micah has a down season without Lawrence.

100%, he may have one or two more good years before I suspect injuries will start racking up and his play starts declining. Do you really want to be stuck paying him 40m as his body breaks down bc you kept sending him at 320 lbs OTs?

Maxx Crosby is taller and only weighs about 10# more than Micah but no one complains about him wearing down. He plays with his hand in the dirt every play. Lots a very good DEs have played under 250.

The narrative that he’s too small is nonsense, he needs to get in better shape if he's getting worn down.

Yeah, for me it was Roy. There was one where Newman was defending the pass right on the sideline and the receiver was still focusing on the ball and Roy just destroyed him.

Then another on a kickoff when Baldinger was on the call and going crazy.

Roy was unbelievable.

I remember him knocking Emmitt out of his homecoming game.
