Why did you just post the Weaknesses? There is a whole overview paragraph about him and Strengths.

Overview
Vaughn’s playing style is similar to that of former NFL running back Jacquizz Rodgers, but Rodgers was much heavier than Vaughn at a similar height. Despite the versatility, production and durability, teams might focus on his lack of size. However, he sees the field clearly, is fearless between the tackles, possesses quality contact balance and finds his way into the end zone as a runner and receiver. Vaughn has an uphill climb ahead of him, but his history of consistent, high-end production makes the climb to success seem achievable.

Strengths
  • Productive as ball-carrier and pass-catcher.
  • Displayed his durability, carrying heavy workload.
  • Elusive to sidestep early penetration.
  • Comfortable navigating through tight creases.
  • Able to bend and cut at crisp angles.
  • Low center of gravity bolsters contact balance.
  • Capable of running routes from the slot in empty sets.
because I just wanted to offer a counter point....and show the reasons he's struggling for a spot in the lineup.

It seemed pretty spot on to me. Didn't mean to offend anyone.

In this scheme and under the current staff, the current defensive tackles combined with the current linebackers will stabilize the run defense and put games in the hands of the offense.
This is a prediction, not a fact as you seem to write in your posts.

Dak is killing our average! Lol
I was actually interested in seeing why we were so low it feels like older team.

Shocked to find out Malik Hooker is only 29….feels like he’s been around awhile.

Anger being 36 wasn’t shocking.
Dak 32
Aubrey 30…thought he was younger for some reason.

Goodwin 35

Fowler 30

Donovan Wilson 30 - shocker. Thought he was younger.

Wil Grier 30 thought he was younger but makes sense. He’s been around.

I’ve always said Jethro shouldn’t be blamed for the firing of Landry. That was on Bum Bright. He’s the one who had a hard on for Tom since part of his purchase agreement didn’t allow him to fire him.

And the fact the Cowboys were sold to Jethro is all on Bum and his Savings and Loan bankruptcy. There were better offers from Mavericks and Lakers owners but would have taken longer as they would have had to sell their majority shares in their NBA teams . While Jethro’s bid was lower he had cash in hand with faster and easier buyout. Firing Landry was a caveat.

The attempt to purchase the Chargers wasn’t totally forthcoming as well. Jethro’s father was not only against Hoffa backing him but he himself wouldn’t back him. Jethro had the opportunity for other partners but he wanted to go it alone and why even entertained the offer from Hoffa who wouldn't have been a partner just the loan shark which may or may not have been approved by NFL.

Bottomline is Jethro never wanted a true partner as his intent was always to be a Football Guy and didn’t want anyone like a partner to be able to challenge his authority.

Jimmy did touch on their agreement but even said perhaps he didn't fully understand as he thought he had total football control and credit and Jethro would take care of business side and provide him basically whatever he needed. Jethro of course apparently saw their partnership differently at least when they begin winning championships.

And it wasn’t until Jethro wanted more credit for his football acumen even attempting to take some away from Jimmy that problems persisted. Some think Jimmy should have gone along but that’s just not how he rolls nor did he think was their agreement .

Bottomline is winning was never enough for Jethro. He wanted to be a football guy and face of his franchise. That’s what his intent was with his “ socks to jocks” mantra. And basically his intention or passion since he left Arkansas which he spoke of but not to the extend I’m presenting here. Perhaps Jimmy just never imagined he’d take it to such extremes initially discounting it as enthusiasm instead of a distraction.

Jerry also needs to be careful that this doesn't reach a point of no turn. In other words, it gets so ugly that he has no choice but to trade him and guess what, his trade value is in the toilet.
I’d perfer they trade him even if it’s in the toilet over giving him a crippling contract.

We’ve seen how Jerry operates with cap space. I really don’t want to see how he operates without any.

Parsons probably asking triple what Zeke got.
Exactly and I don't remember Ezekiel Elliott demanding a trade I don't remember him having an agent that Jerry absolutely has disdain for and hates I don't remember Ezekiel Elliott putting this many things out in public with social media I don't remember Ezekiel Elliott faking injuries....

Has more to do with the posturing and the things going on from both sides but Parsons and his agent everyone knew they were faking an injury and now it gets cleared by the MRI and he wants a 3rd opinion trying to find someone to tell him that he's really hurt so he can not play...

That's just downright bad character this agent is giving truly bad advice look you take this as far as you can and I understand why he held out just like Ezekiel Elliott but at some point you have to come back in You're under contract You have a fully guaranteed contract you need to let the fans down or your teammates down by faking an injury to a point where now you're have filed something about how your status is they're taking this further than anything that's ever happened in Dallas...

And at first I'm trying to stay neutral but if he doesn't play game one and he keeps playing these games with the fake injuries and whatnot that I'm gonna have to move over to the Cowboy side and say this is the agent and player that just are not going to negotiate they're not going to come to the middle you know sometimes you have to make to affect some concessions...

You don't negotiate by saying this is all we're going to accept and then do everything that's happened and I realized Jerry has created a large part of this drama but the 2/3 that are pushing this this far are starting to make fans now Who didn't have a side or maybe they were on Parsons side maybe changing their minds...

This is by far different than any other issues with contracts and holdouts that Dallas has ever experienced I mean Emmitt Smith said he didn't have a contract and Jerry said he did one says it was canceled out but he claimed he didn't have a deal so this is different plus there wasn't social media back then it never got this ugly Plus Jerry didn't mind that agent people keep forgetting this is more about the agent than it is Parsons that advice and just horrible tactics this is why T Higgins fired him and immediately got a new deal with a new agent...

So take a side, but whatever it is that's happening here ,if it doesn't get resolved and he keeps pushing it with the fake injuries just to get out of plane and you know playing for the contract that he and his agent agreed upon,

It's fully guaranteed, and Jerry has paid people after they've gotten hurt look you held out you tried your best but it's time to suit up practice and get ready for the Eagles or some of us are just not going to care anymore whether you're on the team or not....

Starting to get to that point I wanted to be Switzerland and state neutral but the stuff that's happened since yesterday with the Mris and now the grievances being filed this has gone way too far...

I guarantee if I was Parsons agent I would say we took this too far now we're going to go the other direction we're going to make Jerry look bad because we're going to show up suit up and come to practice we're going to play game one in game two and I'm betting Jerry sits there and goes well now I have to pay him right now and a deal gets done right away...

Someone has to break the stare down and right now Jerry has more leverage he owns his rights for three more seasons He's the one doling out the money and I know Jerry will pay him 'cause he's paid everyone So I think it's the player and agent that needs to end this and Jerry being loyal and seeing that loyalty and effort will turn around and give them what they want..

It amazes me people still fall for the hard cap nonsense. Yes they will use his contract as an excuse. No, it won't change anything with FA going forward. Extend him or trade him, we will continue to be ultra conservative with outside free agents. How much more evidence do you need?
It can and will get worse.

Ultra conservative will turn into “who is that guy?” type of signings.

I’m just curious why there seems to be so much more animosity towards Micah than there was zeke. I’m sure some of you weren’t happy with zeke’s holdout, myself included, but he also took his big whiny head and flew off to Cabo and didn’t return until he became the all time highest paid rusher which was just in time for the first regular season game. He wasn’t even at camp or pre season games.

On top of that, he came with a lot more headaches than Parsons AND he held out with TWO years left on his rookie contract which I don’t recall ever being done by any player. He also played a much less premium position but IIRC there was much more support for him than Micah and “pay the man” statements.

Personally I’m not happy with any of them, including Jerry, but if I had to pick one I’d would be supporting Micah much more than zeke. So what gives?
NOT EVEN CLOSE....

I won't watch it, I can barely watch Jerry now....but Ive seen all the documentaaires, read all the books (especially Jeff Perlemans) on the 90s Cowboys, I dont thnk there is anything new. I know about crazy Haley, the drug busts, Michael Irvins hair cutting incident, Jerry barging into the locker room with the Prince after the 92 regular season interfeing with Jimmys apeech, Troys hatred of Switzer, the JJs fallout.....etc, etc.

Heck I could write a book!

Many of those are so close that it is just irrelevant. If a team with an average age of 26 (9th youngest) cuts a 36 year old kicker and signs a 21 year old they drop to the 3rd youngest team but it is completely meaningless in pretty much every way from a football perspective
To me I don’t care if the average age is 23 or 24 or 25…..

But I do not want my team to have an average age of 28. Commanders are playing with fire. And I get it they’ve drafted so bad In the Rivera era they don’t have a choice. But yeah when guys prime years are over before 30 and you have 25 players over 29? Yikes.

What about Zach Martin’s holdout?

Fans never turned on him.

Hmmm
None of it has ever come to this type of drama not one of these is even close None of it nuts a single one and every deal got done before the season started....

No one ever has taken it this far period end of story.. And to find a parallel just because it's a holdout is fruitless because we know the details it's never ever have gone this far with any of these players..

.

Hmmm
I realize that a lot of the other contracts that nobody talks about got done with no problems and also Prescott never had to go to this point He came to every practice didn't create any drama didn't skip any required functions played on the franchise tag got her and he got two of the biggest contracts in the NFL that Jerry has ever handed out He got everything put in there he took charity the cleaners and didn't do any of this why aren't we talking about why don't you just come in show Jerry some loyalty and jerry probably caves and gives you your money...

tyron smith Trayvon diggs all these other contracts have gotten done because the agent and player weren't playing this kind of game.. Seen Ferguson and OSA get paid we've seen other big contracts and big names they all got their money without bringing it to this point this is the ugliest it's ever gotten That is why we're here and it's nothing to do with these other holdouts or even close to the same...

I mean we just seen lamb take less it wasn't much less but he took less he came to the middle he was willing to negotiate and compromise this agent and Jerry hate each other and the egos are clashing and you even need to get rid of your agent and get another one or you need to come to the middle and end this hold out and then Jerry will pay you Come to practice suit up and come to the game and play and I guarantee you'll have a contract before the next game.....

Anybody who thinks this is the same it's not and anybody thinks you have to do this to get money from Jerry it's not true prescott proved that a leader with character he was really quiet had a smart agent and took Jerry to the cleaners that's the agent I want...

In terms of talent Parsons is the best defensive player in the league. If you go back to March of this year (before all this nonsense started) I don't believe any defensive player in the league would have his value in terms of what teams would be willing to give up in draft picks.
You need to watch more football. Myles Garrett is the best D player in the league hands down.

I'd probably push a healthy Dak up a notch or two ahead of maybe a Stafford or a Mayfield, but overall this list seems solid. Glad they put a "wait and see" on Daniels, Nix, and Williams too.

Always said Dak was a 7 to 12 range QB.
Healthy or not Dak Prescott's game swings quite a bit between bad teams and good teams. Way more than Stafford or Mayfield.

Jerry caved to Zeke. He caved to Dak. But will hold the line against Parsons.
Well he's not insane by definition if he's changing his ways, and caving into Parsons.

I think even in those 2 hold outs you saw them working you did not have the optics of a spoiled toddler on the sidelines which makes it look bad to Jerry. They also stayed away from team not causing distractions. with Parsons he's being advised or he's doing it to make it look like poor me jerry's the bad guy not giving in to my demands.

i wonder how he will act when he gets that big contract?
