It's bad character to lie about an injury then it shows on an MRI that it's clean and then you're looking for someone to lie about an MRI ,,so you can find a dirty one, so then you can skip your responsibilities to come play and the way he looked on the table during the game, the puting on the practice field,

I mean dude I'm not going to argue with you, i'm telling you right now it's becoming that, I didn't say he had bad character up until this point but this is starting to lean towards bad character.

You can try to convince me otherwise, but it isn't going to happen.. you obviously don't know me.

I already stated what I said, and I meant it... Never said he was a problem off the field although if you want to go there we can go there from draft aid the things he did as the BMOC in college, you want to go revisit that ??? that didn't look like bad character did it I mean it was immaturity, but there was a lot of rumors of what was going on in the locker room and making people feel uncomfortable....

I didn't mention any of that, I just meant the things that's happened over the last 48 hours, His agent is creating this, and it's going to look like bad character to me if he fakes the injury to this point and start skipping games so he can get paid but he doesn't have to show up he's letting his teammates down he's letting the fans down, and is not going to help his career going forward,

i'm saying it's developing into a bad character situation...
I agreed with you that he was leaning towards bad character and I was hesitant of drafting due to the things he was accused of in college, but as usual (like with zeke), most fans made excuses for him after he became a cowboy. So no, I won’t argue with you on any of that.

I feel as though a defense predicated on that type of DL needs an offense that gets a lead fast.

I don't know the stats on this, but my eye test says Dak is a slow starter.

Let’s all hope, but just remember, the guys like Childress, Hall, Houston, and Winfrey all played a lot in preseason because the guys ahead of them were not playing, and they all looked good against 2nd and 3rd teamers and guys who are now on the street. Like Childress, the minute there’s a guy available with more upside, they are gone. I’m hoping Winfrey can produce against first team OLs.
That's what the practice squad is 4 the lower end of the 5, I mean your top heavy on superstars and the cap hit....

that's every team is built that way now you have to figure out who your best role players are that you're going to roll in and out in different groups, that you mix in with the best players..

They may have been playing against two threes and fours but that doesn't mean when they're mixed in side by side with their own number ones, that it won't open up opportunities for them, Just like the defensive backs, they can't cover everyone, if you have too many good targets somebody's going to eat that day, you got to do that on defense too.. And you're literally trying to create mismatches that can happen if they're paying attention to Parsons maybe the other guy on the other side gets to eat or someone on the inside that was right next to him all the sudden he funneled a sack to them and that could be one of these guys....

By the way,

Childress, I believe coming back ,

but Houston's different,

Houston was already a very good NFL player He was on the way up when he got an injury that took him a while to come back from and he looks like he's back to form These are what you're looking for in training camp it's why you bring 90 players when you're going to break things down into 53 plus the practice squad you're hoping to find that little bit of players maybe three that make your team..

I mean training camp for a lot of these players are tryouts....

Go back and look at the history of Houston He started his career like this got injured but now he's trying to make a comeback and it looks like he's on his way because it may have been against backups but he looked like he DI was that much better than them that's what you're looking for he was showing up every snap every game he was disrupting practice or listen to Schottenheimer. Talking about this in the press conference so it's not just what we saw ourselves is behind the scenes he was being disruptive on every level that means i'm sure he was playing against some of our number ones in practice.....

I'm not sure how Winfrey will work out but who knows that's the fun of this the guy makes the team he was a long shot and now he can prove himself...

Ya I've accepted this as the plan but beef has a Tyson quote"they all have a plan till I hit em
As I wrote in another response, the offense and their ability to control the clock is the key. All the elite teams are able to do that and keep their defenses on the sidelines. Washington for example last yr was top 10 in time of possession and had an even worse run defense then the Cowboys.

You're not making a lick of sense or paying attention.

Yes, there was an MRI. Do you know what it means to get an MRI **sooner**? You say, "He (They would be the proper pronoun to use here...for the Cowboys) finally gets an MRI," which is my point exactly. ***FINALLY*** Why didn't they get it shortly after they knew about the issue? Why did they wait? Why are you not asking those questions?

Micah is the only one who knows what his back feels like. If the MRI didn't show anything (which is not definitive that there is no issue), and he does actually feel something wrong, it would make perfect sense for him to seek a second opinion. Millions of people do it for medical issues every year.

The back tightness was referenced when voluntary OTAs were around. It wasn't something that just popped up in the last week or so. Why did the Cowboys not do an MRI way back then...at the start of Summer? If the Cowboys believe it's a stunt (which is perfectly reasonable), why not get the MRI sooner? Why wait? That's something you'd want either way. Either you find an issue and you work to get it fixed, and have more information for any contract negotiations, or there's nothing and you have more leverage in contract negotiations.

Ask logical questions of both parties.

Lol if he gets paid that back problem will away if you think he is really hurt i got a car I will sell to you for 100000 million dollars

who you replace him with then? some scrub in the next draft?

Good luck with that.

How many years has this team been drafting LBs? How many have been like Micah?
Good point. It’s probably time to start comparing Micah to the guy who’s going to replace him in the lineup if he does not play. Comparing him to Garrett or Crosby doesn’t mean much. They make no difference to the Cowboys.

Roy Williams comes to mind rather quickly. Dude was vicious early on.

Then they can just let it ride. Dallas another full year and two franchise tags on Parsons. He has no power.

They even cleared him to play with the MRI so they can dock him a games's pay if he doesn't play Thursday.
Both sides are so dumb at this point i could see him sitting out and Jerry tagging him while refusing to trade him.

Will he lay on the trainer's table?
Will he walk slowly on the practice field while looking at his cellphone?
Will he stare off into space?
All these questions AND MORE on COOG'S COWBOYSZONE!
Micah will sit out 2 games before he comes to his senses.

I can respect the honest answer, as much as I don’t like loud mouth Micah, I would give him an A+ on like ability compared to zeke who I would give an F-
Zeke was a BA his rookie year and still really good for another 2-3.

And roughly the third worst with roughly the third highest payroll….kidding…?

I became a Cowboy fan in 72, after they won their first Superbowl. I was 11 and hooked for life. I starting playing football that year and played for the next 12 years.
