Twitter: Dr. Jerry "Claiborne has strained groin"

seeing Jerry make these pronouncements reminds of the time Bill Nagy broke his foot or ankle in the New England game in 2011. the injury was pretty gruesome, just looked like his leg snapped if I remember correctly. The next day, Jerry was quoted as saying, "now, don"t count at Nagy coming back and helping us this year." Nagy later had surgery and pin placed in there or something like that. done for the season. Have to take Dr. Jerral Wayne Jones, MD with a grain of salt.

Is Jerry saying we may have Mo back against Cleveland?? Wth!! That's incredible if true. It was reported as torn (or sports hernia, depending on source).

Even if he's ready (and, hallelujah, we may have dodged a bullet), sit him for CLE, we will definitely need him for PIT the following Sunday.

For all the times Jerry ("the doctor") has been wrong, please let this be a rare time he is right. Please, baby Jebus.

ETA -- I will find it a small miracle if he is back inside of a month, but I digress. Groins are no joke, but Cooper played with Plantar Fasciitis, not quite as severe, but major for a WR and balled out.

I get what your saying but consistently, players that don't practice, don't play.

Kiss of death. He'll be on IR or in surgery within a week.

He's out against Cleveland for sure. Still no definite timetable.
