I wonder if he would fit into Rob Ryan's D?

Haloti Nagta is 6'4" which is a bit tall for NT as well, but the Ravens are very creative in how they use him. He'll line up at NT, End, at times he doesn't even get in a stance, you see him roaming around like a LB.
Kenrick is nowhere near Nagta coming out of college, I'm just saying he could be a wild card in our D.
Some other possible NT's could be, as you said, Jerrell Powe (6'2" - 330) and Phil Taylor (6'4" - 355), between the two I'd go with Powe. Wasn't impressed by Taylor in his bowl game at all.

TheCount;3805579 said:Which makes it kinda funny when people say don't move Rat because they think he'll disappear from the defense at end.
MarionBarberThe4th;3805691 said:No one gets sacks at end in our defense. Ratliff was previously getting unheard of pressure up the middle from the nose.
Get Spears back and replace Igor.

Didn`t Phil Taylor have a bad bowl game and was out of gas by halftime ? Just trying to refresh my memory. Stamina problems , is I remember correctly.TheCount;3805484 said:My pet cat is Kenrick Ellis but at 6'5", I'm not sure he fits the prototypical nose tackle position but the good thing about him is that he has the feet to also play end. 7.5 sacks in 07'
5 sacks in 08'
8 sacks in 09'
3.5 sacks in 10'
So we have gotten pressure from our DEs and our 2 best seasons were when the DEs were active. When our starting DEs combine for 0 sacks, that;s a problem

You don`t understand . We would like some speedy LBs , but we are still having trouble replacing Barbie . :laugh2:natedoug;3805798 said:Spears (6'4" 311 ) , Hatcher (6'6" 311 ) , Bowen (6'5" 306 ) are all big enough for DE in a 2-gap 34 system. If you recall, Parcells ran a 2gap system when he was here. To get our D really NASTY, we need a major speed upgrade at the two ILB spots. Then you can bring alot of the blitz / dogs and overloads that are popular with the aggressive 34 schemes.
