Draft a QB and trade Romo?

You can't go by that Andy Dalton was a second rounder I'm sure I can find several over the years that became quality backups and starters that were drafted in the second round. Boomer Esiason was also a second rounder. Cinn has had some pretty good luck with second round QBs.

I read some research by Scott wright that it's like a total waste.

I don't see us competing for a title in romos 1-2 window and I don't see us with a high pick when he plays either. As the other guy mentioned it's a similar situation to Peyton with Indy only its true that seemingly there's no studs this year.

Drafting a QB in any round is a crapshoot. Quality starting QBs have been found in practically every round but the higher you take one the better chance of getting a hit. It's not like second round QBs carry a curse.

No team wants a 35 year old QB with an absurd contract and a spine and collarbone held together with scotch tape.

The only teams I could realistically see taking a shot if this were ever to happen would be Houston or St. Louis - teams with talent everywhere except the QB position.

His stock is highest right where he is.

I would have considered a couple of years ago. At this point, Tony has more value as mentor than as trade value.

What does this even mean man holy **** you tough guys are weird

It means you must be of baby age to start a thread like this. It's a total waste of time because it ain't happening. If you make a ridiculous thread like this expect to hear about it.

Or you can relax and participate in the thread or go away? Go start a real fight at Walmart and leave me alone

And Drew Brees.

I don't think it's a ridiculous thread any more than any other hypothetical thread offered here.

I really don't understand why people freak out when someone posts a hypothetical scenario, no matter how far-fetched it is.
