There were 31 picks in the first round, ending with Germain Ifedi going to Seattle. His contract contained a 5th year option which Seattle declined in 2019. At pick 32, the Browns selected Emmanuel Ogbah with the first pick in the 2nd round. His 4 year contract did not contain a 5th year option as he was a second round pick (per the CBA). He played a few years in Cleveland, was traded to the Chiefs, then signed with Miami in 2020 as a free agent.
