We'll do what we've been doing for the last several years. Get a player we consider to be an impact defender (probably a defender) in the first, though going offense if we think a unique talent has dropped won't be out of the question. We'll be looking to get in position to get a CB to replace the loss of Claiborne somewhere in the first three rounds and may maneuver to do so if the opportunity presents itself. We'll probably add a rotational DL at some point early, though there's no guarantee that'll be a first round player. With Tapper taking Crawford's spot and Paea taking McClain's, we're looking for a clear upgrade in the rotation.
From there, we're really looking for young guys we can bring up through the ranks to become eventual starters in 2-3 years. I'm sure we'll be skewing to defense if we can get in position to do so, but OL, WR, RB are all still in play if the right guy is there. Next year we're going to have a lot of extra picks and fewer roster spots and more FA money, too. Not sure how all that is going to work out, but it may mean we're more open to trading future picks to get guys we like better right now. That could make things interesting.
