How about wins? That is the bottom line to me. Bledsoe has 9; Vinny had 6. THAT ALONE is enough for me. AND THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE- WINS!!!!

do you think if you took away T. glenn and Campbell and Julius and had copper and George as the backups and had Key playing on one leg it might make a differance in wins and losses?

Again so he had JJ for the last 7 games as you say one of which Henson did some QBing in...

Still you say VT was bad in those games well DUH who did he have to throw to Copper? Key was playing on a bum leg...Crayton wasn't all that good...Quincy Morgan please...

If you know Vinny is worse than all I ask is to prove it to me I am listening

Actuallly you aren't listening. I used QB rating and you said that meant nothing.

Then you make statements that you really can't back up. Such as last years schedule was clearly better or the O-line was obviously worse last season. The schedules aren't much different. The only real difference is that the NFC east opponents were tougher this season.

The last half of the year, the offensive line struggled in both run blocking and pass protection. In the last half of last season, the offensive line could at least run block well. That does matter. It affects the game. It allows the offense not to become 1 dimensional and can force a defense to make more of a commitment to stop the run and open up opportunities for the passing game. But you choose to ignore that part of the arguement. Do you really think Bledsoe's numbers would not have improved if Dallas could have run the ball in the same manner that they did last season?

I look at the Carolina game. That was the one game in the second half of this season that Dallas was able to run the ball as effectively as they did in the second half of last season. Bledsoe had an effective game passing the ball because of the good running game.

I am not ignoring all the negatives of Drew Bledsoe. He fumbles, whether that if from a snap or getting blindsided. That is a problem. He is what he is, a decent QB. He is not special, but in my opinion he appeared to be playing appreciably better than Vinny from last season. He just carried himself better. He was able to create some big plays. It seemed that Vinny had to rely on others for big plays to occur. Vinny had a turnstile line with the Jets this season that resembled the turnstile line of Dallas. It caused him to fumble 8 times and lose 6 of those. That was in very limited time.

I explained why it meant nothing did I not... if I didn't...well here it goes again they do not take Fumbles or and I may be mistaken on this one Sacks into account...if they do not take these vital statistics into account then why should it count......

I posted links to the stats...look them up

so big deal about the schedule it came out the same

No I don't think Bledsoe numbers would have improved... infact they may have gone down

so what...vinny put up a 109.0 QBR on the last game of 04...what are you saying sorry if I don't get it...are you saying Vinny can do more with less talent around him..if so I think the stats may back up that claim

who did Vinny have that was making big plays for him to get the same statistics as Bledsoe...I am not talking about Vinny and the jets I am talking about Vinny and the Cowboys...listen friend you jump around so much on this ...let us just take one point at a time...

so let us start from the beginning....

I said if you compare the two the stats are pretty close but with the addition of fumbles and sacks that Vinny did a better job with less...

and you say?

Wasn't this brought up yesterday ?

QC had 10 wins under BP. Does that make him better than Bledsoe and Vinny ?
