He's the backup... he's going back to the bench.
Momentarily, yes... but, he'll be ushered right back into the starting line up just as soon as Romo inevitably goes down again.

Click your heels together 3 times and maybe it will come true for you.as soon as Romo inevitably goes down again.
Don't hurt the Romo faithfuls feelings...they cant take it. Where are they btw?
Thanks for the prediction, Nostradamus. When you get the Powerball numbers in, go ahead and post them here.Momentarily, yes... but, he'll be ushered right back into the starting line up just as soon as Romo inevitably goes down again.

Tony's the better player. He also deserves the job back this season in case of a tie, given all he's given the organization. Though Dak's making it a surprisingly more interesting question than I honestly ever thought he could this season.
Already, I found myself checking to see if maybe we consider sitting Tony for that first PHI game, and start him against the Browns instead. Let the fans have their Wentz v. Dak playoff, avoid the risk of further injury to Tony against that Eagles defense, and give him a patsy to warm up against his first game back. At this point, and I"m assuming Tony's body is able to play the week after the bye, I actually prefer sitting him another week and not giving him the game back with two weeks to prepare. That right there is a huge shift from where I was at the end of training camp.
It may be hard for some of the fans, but I don't know how many different ways they can say it's Tony's team. He's coming back. These next 3 games are going to be very telling. I expect Dak (and the team as a whole) to look good in SF. Those next 2 games after that are going to be the key in determining the conclusion of this QB question.
If Dak somehow continues to progress at the rate he has been, it's going to be very very hard to take him out of the lineup.

Yes, very astute comparing a decade's worth of accumulated stats to a rookie's first TD. I guess Tony shouldn't have replaced Bledsoe, since you know, Bledsoe had more TD's than him at the time. You are illogical and evaluate on emotions. Good for you.

Sometimes it's better to just use common sense.
The starting QB position is at least a discussion at this point, especially if Dak continues to progress at the current rate.
And if you're going to go the route of quoting tweets and what not, I'm pretty sure you can find a quote from Jerry that contradicts the one you posted.
Post it, otherwise you're full of ****.
LOL
Bro I'm not going to search the Internet for it just so you can see it. You can think I'm full it if you want. Doesn't really bother me.
I can't recall the exact way Jerry babbled and fumbled through the words, but he basically didn't rule out the possibility of Dak never giving the job back.
Regardless, it's obviously worth discussion at this point. Hence this thread and the number of replies in it.
