Seriously the draft has been a holiday in my life for more than 20 years. Weekends full of food and friends, talking football, watching football and just loving the game. But that absolutely has to be my favorite moment of any draft ever. Thank you Drew!

the NFL network just opened its 7am slot showing that. They said that Drew Pearson won the NFL draft, then they showed the Cowboys war room with Jerry and Steven loving it. That was a Great off the cuff speach...Major props to Mr Drew Pearson...

Saw that and took a pic of the screen to send to all igglet fans I know.

This gave me goosebumps. What a legend he is for this. I met the guy before and he was happy to sign an autograph and chat it up with me. It's complete bullsh that he's not in the Hall of Fame.

Yeah, Drew Pearson is probably the coolest mofo in the world. I got a pic wearing his Super Bowl ring.

The thing I love most....there are young Cowboy fans that saw this, and they will learn more about the greatness of Drew Pearson.

He is one of two receivers on the all-70s team, and yet he's not in the Hall of Fame. Criminal.
