Drew Pearson says "TO has been fine" w/ Cowboys

Philly is also running the ball more, and have a much more balanced offense. Had you noticed that?

I did notice they don't have a QB at the helm that thinks he can do it all himself (run/pass) at the detriment of his team. Yep. I noticed.

Yup!

He brought on his own injury.

Yup! Thats funny.

A highly respected former Dallas Cowboys WR says that the TO stuff is all "nothing" for the most part.

Its just a clarification that all else doesnt matter. Just gameday and good/great players on the field.

TO has been fine overall (Irvin was worse overall as were many 90s boys like Erik W.)

While Tuna handled him well with the press - i'm not sure any coach could have done better - BUT i'm not sure he handled him the best he could overall. Just like he made errors with our team he made errors with TO that will haunt him and probably this season.

His training camp battles with TO seemed like the childish dispute he had with Pats owner Bob Kraft... battle of egos to the detriment of the team. Allowing the WR coach to have the tug-o-war was beneath all of them. Tuna has said to the press, he hasn't spoken to TO after several episodes such as the press fabricated "suicide" story and if true then Tuna was neglectful and incompassionate here and as 60-something w/ grandkids he should know better.

Tuna also misused TO alot, failing to recognize the players inability to CONCENTRATE if he's out of the game/loop. The coach/leader should avoid such problems and this was an easy one to avoid.... not a huge sacrifice by the team or whatever.

As fine as TO has been i'm not sure i want him back however, except for the fact we pay $3m to purge him and only $6m more to keep and we have no better alternates. Terry Glenn has faded in Nov/Dec each year, and this one is another example.

Link?

I'd really have to hear it for myself.

Because even if your quotes were exact, the thread title misleads.

Drew either said He's USUALLY fine as in your post, or he IS fine, as in the thread title.

Or neither.

Hmmm, I wonder...since T.O. has a hurt hand and stuff, and he cannot catch the ball right...hmmm...I wonder if he can catch the football with his mouth?

I mean, it's big enough...!

No! I have my T.O. tat on my right arm...and I have his jersey on right now.

And...I'm eating popcorn right this minute!

Any other question, sir?

;)

So when we win #6 what are you going to do? Your name will no longer apply. This dilemma is only weeks away. ;)

If we get the ball in the hands of our playmakers (TG/TO) Seattle will be in for a very long day.

I don't want to see any lameo sideline fly route to TO. Send TG long and let him so what he does well. Send TO across the middle all night long. Slant slant slant til Seattle vomits all over themselves trying to cover it.

I agree that's what I would do if I was coaching. But buyer be ware. owens does have a tendency to keep his head on a swivel at times running the slant.
His arms get shorter after a big hit in the middle.

Here's the issue. If we go 3 wide and run the back into the flats everyone will be tied up. Then you hit TO on a quick slant and laugh at the corner trying to follow him for large gain after large gain. It seems elementary. Especially when it was displayed so beautifully in San Fran for years.

Damn...I never thought about that!

Ok... I dont know so I am asking....

These "alligator arms"...just another thing wrong with TO:rolleyes:..... Have they been on slant patterns or on throws across the middle where he was heading into a hit?

I am seriously asking?

That's easy. The latter would be correct sir. Those are called deep slants into the safety's bread basket.
