Just because a WR makes an attempt to catch an errant ball...doesn't make it a "drop pass". QBs and WR's work incessantly on TIMING for a reason. If the receiver is never sure where the ball is gonna be, that uncertainty can cause timing issues. Then add to it getting ready to be smashed because you've lost your route and vision.
This stat you are parading....gives all shadow of doubt on the receiver. If you want to dance with stats, and present a balanced case, tell us how many passes Dak did NOT hit in stride (or "on target", caught or not. Otherwise you are making excuses for Dak poor location.
