Defensive tackles Randy White, John Dutton, Russel Maryland, and Tony Casilles along with defensive end Ed Jones were all anchors on the Cowboys Super Bowl defensive lines.

What else do they have in common?

They were all top 5 picks overall in their respective drafts.

You can't build a D-line without investing in some top talent.

How about cutting your losses with Phillips and poaching this years 7th rounder Justin Rogers off the Bengals practice squad and put him in the DT rotation immediately.

For the record, I said this team made a big mistake cutting NT Justin Rogers at the end of preseason. Now we see picking up these old DTs is not working out.

I asked that person for a link, but I have yet to hear from that YouTube poster. I couldn't find anything on the internet talking about this, so this might be a bunch of baloney spewed by some fan. Justin Rogers still has the Dallas Cowboys on his X profile, plus several Cowboys preseason clips of him making plays, so there is hope he might be willing to come back if Jerry and the Cowboys approached him.

So if a player is on another teams PS it would seem like if you put in a claim and have to put him on your 53 he can refuse to go ? If he’s on a teams 53 with the chance to play I would think the player would jump at the promotion. For one thing I would think it would pay better .

So if a player is on another teams PS it would seem like if you put in a claim and have to put him on your 53 he can refuse to go ? If he’s on a teams 53 with the chance to play I would think the player would jump at the promotion. For one thing I would think it would pay better .
