It's probably what he's worth. I wouldn't have hated it but I'm not heartbroken either

4 Years $21M can be spun a lot of ways. Key is the guaranteed money and the salary of the first two years.

I imagine a lot of Skins fans reacting with 'can he play WR?'

I bet he's already formulating a plan to miss the games against Dallas and our big uglies. You know he wasn't even equivalent to a blocking sled, going against them in practice. Lol

Chris Canty, Stephen Bowen, Bruce Carter....people rue over us not re-signing some of our guys but how many have actually gone on to have success? I can't think of many.
They've gone on to have as much success as we have...

At least Hatch was coming off an 11 sack season and had played most of his career in a 3-4 when they signed him from us after 2013. I like McClain but that $5.25mm/annual seems a little much for a rotational guy who'll be switching back to a scheme that he wasn't a great fit for in his previous stop before Dallas. I'm not thinking twice about this one.

Side note - whatever happened to Stephen Paea? He was a productive player for Rod in Chicago before signing with Washington year before last.

Spent 2016 in purgatory (Cleveland) and is now a free agent.

Take a vote.

See if anyone wants to stand on that island with you.

This is a **** signing that we're all glad this team didn't make.
Absolutely. Players like McClain is why teams get cheap. Marginal player who has has one consistent season got paid.

they love signing our DL.....lol And once again...square peg in round hole. How does he fit a 3-4?

LOL...........typical. he was a monster for us right, but when he signs with another team he stinks. Too funny.
