The 4thQ anyway.....

How about a replay overturn of a potential Witten 1st down from an angle behind Witten. I thought it had to be conclusive?

Then the fumble
Then Gramatica whiffs
Then Babineaux grabs both of Romos feet, if it was just one or Romo puts the ball out its a 1st or score.

Next play they let Alexander get a 1st. With about 1:20 and 3 timeouts they could have gotten the ball back w/ 1 minute at midfield.

These things havent evened out yet. Were due.

I just watched this game again last week.

Witten was clearly, short of the first down despite the less than perfect angle.

And Romo DID reach out with the ball. So much so that he fumbles it when it hits the turf.

It was a truly great play by Babineaux to offset a tremendous effort by Romo.

The Glenn fumble was just that as well. A catch & a fumble.

Replay bailed the refs out on both the Glenn fumble (originally ruled a TD) and the spot of Witten's catch.

Heartbreaking loss for us. But I'm not at all confident our D would've prevented a Seattle FG had we been successful on our FG. The Witten 1st down, or a 1st down off Romo's FG scramble probably would've made us winners. Again, I give Babineaux major props for his effort. He saved the game for Seattle.

The Glenn fumble would have been better served to not be challenged. It ended up in a safety, and the Seahawks scored a TD on the ensuing drive immediately after the free kick. This resulted in 9 points, instead of the 7 for just the TD.

At least we would have had the ball back after the Glenn fumble and apparent Seahawk TD, and not allowed them to rack up 9 points so quickly.

Should have been challenged as an incomplete pass. It clearly hits the turf at the same time Glenn grabs it and is airborn for a fraction of a second after he initially snags it.

There is no way you can say this. I have watched that play a lot and to say he was clearly short is ridiculous. If I recall in that game they ruled it a first down and then the refs met and changed the call. I always will think and know that was a 1st down.
