Dumb things every game. How?

no, if Rush throws and is incomplete the clock stops. They tried to get an easy pass for a first down to end the game. it was a smart play. clock management 101.

Bingo. First read. If it’s open, throw it. If not. QB runs or takes the sack. No high risk or difficult throws.

That was the strategy.

WHAT. Taking negative plays?? Just run the ball normally.

and fumble perhaps? or try to pass and its incomplete and stops the clock. this is not the first time I have seen that. he was trying to take off as many seconds as possible off the clock. they were mid field, thus going backwards, actually helped the punter put it inside the 20 as opposed to end zone. I didn't see any issue with those plays. the alternative would have been a quick kneel down, which would have taken 1 second off the clock as opposed to 6 or 7....

....sounds like you want a "Lovie Smith" plan. Some say losing builds character, while some say losing reveals character. I want to see guys that fight, grow, get better, and stay together.....then we'll see if Jerry/FO can do something for this team.......that's productive. Just me.

Yeah I get that but at this point I'd rather have the higher pick than a middle round and watch dumb and dumber continue to try and build almost exclusively through the draft which should be obvious doesn't work. Add an overpaid QB that looked pretty bad before the injury and...... Ahhh you know what, it's all been said before. It's amazing that the team I loved for 50 years of my life has become something that I pretty much loathe anymore. From the ownership to the players there so little I like. But like you said, Just me.

Fair enough......can be respected. I think this board would love point shaving if it meant a top 5 pick. And since you mentioned the overpaid QB, what would you hope for now, going forward at that position, to make you happy?

Start over, I haven't felt like Dak is the guy for a long time. Too bad that ship has sailed for another 4 years. I dunno, I may just have to step away and take a break for awhile. Maybe till Dak is gone and Jerry's dead or at least unable to do the job he says he's doing.

What were those 1st and 2nd down calls where Rush takes a sack???? ONE first down and the game is over. You’re not running out the clock they got 2 timeouts. What coach gives up like that????

I agree. When you play not to lose, you usually lose. Run the ball 3 times. If you break a run for ONE 1st down, game over. That was horrible play calling.
