He only played the first 11 games of 2012. I think we all assumed that his issues in 2013 were scheme related but he could be having some type of mental issue related to being injured the previous year.
I'm so confused.
I thought he came on later after Lee's injury. Forgot he went down too.
Wilber is a far more physical player at Sam than Carter.
Maybe because McClain is starting to show the promise he had when drafted and that overall the better alignment is McClain at Mike and Durant at Will?
Frankly, as much as I like Durant, he's not good enough at Mike that you refuse to move him.
EDIT: Whoops I just read that McClain isn't practicing this morning. Oy vey.
He's a 4th rounder. Anyone expecting a 4th rounder to be a key contributor this year is doing drugs.
Carter looked promising at the end of 2012.
What happened. Just checked out mentally?
So are the LB's from what I watch.
Maybe Seattle was doing drugs when the started Richard Sherman his rookie year and he was able to contribute.
Doesn't look good for Carter.

He kinda reminds me of Mo. Another example of how strong college game doesn't always translate to strength at the next level. Both have really struggled since being drafted. I often remind myself of my 3 day rule when thinking about both players. They've both had long enough time.. It's time to put up or take a permanent seat.
Carter played extremely well in 2012 as the 3-4 ILB. But that probably was due to less zone coverage responsibility.
Both guys have a lack of sense of urgency and that is what bothers me the most. The athleticism is there, but both seem content with just being in the NFL and making NFL money and living the lifestyle of an NFL player rather that being the best player they can possibly be.
