E-Girls fans showing their unmatched class yet again

i can't stand people like that....simply uncarring *******s

that's a shame.

but we all should think of this sort of thing when we root for a Sean Taylor conviction, etc.

not as extreme certainly but just a step or two away.

Taylor was on the offending end. Davis was on the receiving end. A little different circumstance there.

City of brotherly love? :lmao2:

Not really. It's the City of brotherly SHOVE.

I've been there many times and the place is awful. Except for Genos and Tony Lucs. :)

Seriously, could we have expected anything less from the majority of Iggle fans. That comment was actually really "light", considering the source.

:suxiggle: :trophy:

I hate Eagles fans as much as anyone here, but to be fair I don't think that person is representative of their fan base as a whole. They're just the thought of one stupid person.

Exactly, it would be interesting to see other fans' reaction to this. does anyone have a link to the site?

And all that cheering for Michael's injury, while he was paralized was the thoughts of maybe 30,000. Please, don't defend that bunch of kooks.

I hate it when they do that. Some people never grow up, and they were probably rotten kids to begin with. I won't even try to defend the Eagles fanbase, in this case where there is smoke there's fire, the reputation is deserved. Unfortunately there exists a subculture in our fanbase where this type of talk is thought of as tough or cool. Some fans try to fight the image or deny it's validity, while others embrace it, I just act for myself and don't give a damn what people think of the others - they're outside my control.

Having lived in the 'burbs of Philly for a while I can tell you that you are absolutly correct. That is the mentality of the philly area. But that doesn't excuse it. I will say that there are some Eagle fans that I like as people and are not that way. The others? I don't bother with.

Yeah, a week ago I was vacationing in NJ about 1 1/2 hours from Philly. A buddy of mine grew up in NJ all of his life and is a Giants fan. We were talking about all of the miserable Philly fans and just how weird it was that here we are, 90 minutes away from Philly and you generally don't see Giants fans act 1/100th as bad as Philly fans.

These are the same dolts who booed Mike Schmidt, perhaps the greatest 3rd baseman of all time.

Rich.............

Who really cares? We already know what they are all about so who really values their opinions? Not me.

I live in Atlanta. Chatham, NJ was a lot more fun and peaceful than any time I've been in Atlanta. Plus, how can you beat a 30 minute drive to NYC?

Without a doubt, Mike Schmidt is the greatest 3rd baseman of all time. No one else even has a case. Off-topic I know but just throwing it in there....

Yeah Philly fans are pretty depressed. Eagles, Sixers and Flyers have all come up just short in recent years. Phillies lost the World Series in '93 on the Joe Carter homer. I don't blame them for being so miserable.
