I guess I've Been here close to 3 years now. When I arrived here, I wasn't as football savvy as I am Now ...I've learned from Cowboys fans. But for some reason, everyone thinks that I am just here on the Zone and No where else!? I'm a senior member on an Eagles Message board and I'm a moderator on an NFL Forum MB. In short, I'm an Eagles fan, an NFC-East fan, and a football fan. I'm looking forward to a very exciting playoff potential game, and enjoying an ice cold Budweiser and a Hoagie ...if you truly are from Philly, then you know it doesn't get much better than that!;)

I hope I'm not talking to an undercover troll! As for me ...my skin is unbelieveable thick as a result of being here. I learned how to post on Eagle boards as a result of being here. Some might look at that as my having "cut teeth" on the Zone! I don't mind the verbal abuse from time to time. Between times, I obtain a hellofalot of football knowledge. I learn from Cowboy fans as well as Eagle fans ...I've even learn a Little something about you. That's why I've taken the time to respond to you in this manner.;)

Got you PT, I respect that bro. Like I said, you certainly have the right to post wherever you want, but I am very aware of my surroundings as I could never feel truly "at home" here as I am at the Cards boards I belong too. While the Zone'rs for the most part are some real cool cats and have been pretty civil to me, my Cardinals peeps are my "family" and with them I can commiserate as much as I want on any and everything. It's almost like having dinner at a strangers house as opposed to going over your best friends house. We have been brutal to the Seahag and Lamb trolls there, so I know how these cats feel about someone disrespecting their house. And, as a born and bred Philadelphian, yes I do know the pleasure of an awesome Hoagie (Greenman's deli??) and a cold brew (Dos Equis!) Matter of fact I'll enjoy one while the Boys stomp a mudhole in the eagles rear on Christmas day!! ;)

No, but on the real, good luck this weekend, and happy holidays to ya man!

You think the Saints game was bigger than the Indy game or the recent Cowboys game in the Meadowlands?

In light of those two games, the Saints game was far from huge.

I do! I do for the simple reason that the Cowboys lost the game against the Saints! Thus making it a huge loss! Victories are victories regardless of whether they come In the form of a huge game or an anticipated win from a weaker team. But losses are huge for the same reasons! Think about it, then reconsider.

Get lost, troll boy! It's pathetic to correct someone's spelling on a message board! As a matter of fact, it's more pathetic then your pathetic team...

I'm not correcting anyone, I'm just pointing out some obvious inefficiencies. You've been making these egregious common errors as long as you've been an in-house troll. There's a big difference between a misplaced repetitive word, and a typographical error vis-a-vis not knowing the correct word to use.

For example ...you chose to use the word ..."then" versus "than" ...that's not so much a spelling problem than it is a venacular deficiency.

Stop trying to troll to make your points. You're always so busy trying to insult people that you never take time to improve your writing skills. If you put half as much energy into clarity as you do trolling, you wouldn't have the problems you possess.

Spew your garbage somewhere else...because you are not the "sophisticated troll" that I labeled you as...you have revealed yourself as a normal eagle troll with nothing better to do then come here posting veiled posts...take a hike, honey...

Got it?

...didn't know they issued a Master's Degree in trollology ...from the University of Jesters:D !?

You're a real hoot ...or, what was your major/minor? Are you just being disingenuous ...: lacking in candor; or giving a false appearance of simple frankness?

I've thought about it. Very little was on the line versus the Saints. Dallas had a 2 game lead in the NFCE. At best, the Cowboys were playing for the driver's seat for the remaining bye in the NFC. Maybe there was some pride on the line because of Sean Payton, but in the grand scheme of things, the Cowboys could lose and still retain a handle on their playoff future.

OTOH, heading into the Indy game, a 5-4 Dallas team with a new QB playing in his first game in Texas Stadium on national television against the reputed best team in the NFL - the undefeated Colts - was in danger of falling further behind the streaking Giants who were facing a lackluster Jaguars team on Monday night. Dallas was mathematically unable to win a tiebreaker with the Giants at this point, so a Dallas loss and a Giants win would effectively put the Cowboys 3 games behind the Giants.

Heading into the Giants game in the Meadowlands, the Cowboys had gained a slim lead over the Giants, but a loss would effectively handed the Giants the division lead by virtue of a season sweep. This was the same Giants team that had victimized Romo for 3 INT's in the second half of the meeting in Dallas.

Even the most recent game in Atlanta had at least as much pressure as the NO game.

Now, you are being disingenuous if you claim that the Saints game is more representative of Romo's performance under pressure than the two games I mentioned. The fact is, Romo is at worst 2-1 in pressure games, with the two being higher pressure than the 1. If you want to take solace in that, be my guest.

You forgot one, Mr. Dictionary..

2. Concealed or disguised as if with a veil: "slur-footed ironies, veiled jokes, tiptoe malices" Edith Wharton.

Which of course is the context it was used in, so naturally you conveniently left it out.

Your explanation really has nothing to do with the fact that all games are huge ...especially this time of the year. Every missed field goal attempt, every fumble, every penalty, and every interception is ..."HUGE!" That means that every loss is a huge loss regardless of what's riding
on the game.

Most coaches realize that mistakes made earlier in the season usually comes back to haunt you this time of the season. Think about that just a Little harder.
