Eagle fans calling into Philly radio

My Eagirls co worker said they were gonna slaughter us.

I said, probably.

That shut him up.

If I spoke my mind about those people, I would get banned from this site.

Just ask them what they have in that trophy case.

Gets them every time. That is all that needs to be said. They take pride in being regular season champs. They are still the scum of the division until they hold a few titles.

guessing here, the point of most Eagles fans is not that the Eagles have had a tougher road, just that they are sick of the media slobbering all over the Cowboys when both teams have similar accomplishments thus far.

Our accomplishments aren't similar. Beat the SB champs in their house like we did!!! Manning, Brees and Rodgers all failed to do so in their last attempt.

When you're America's Team the media is going to give you all the attention. The problem is it's positive attention and no one outside of the Cowboys fan base can stand it.

I'm in the area and try not to listen, sometimes can't help it. Here is what they are saying:

1.Cowboys have played surprisingly well, but maybe the wins against New Orleans and Seattle are not as impressive because those teams are struggling
2. Chip Kelly can do more with his talent than Jason Garrett and is heads above shoulders the better coach (cite his 12-2 record in last 14 reg season games and what he inherited)
3. The Cowboys will wear down Murray (said don't be surprised to see him tweak ankle Monday and miss 2 games). He is injury prone and overused right now
4. Murray gets hurt, they will revert back to Romo throwing 40 times again - and more turnovers
5. The Dallas defense will eventually be exposed by good QBs, since they cannot get any pressure
6. Romo and Cowboys will do their normal annual late season swoon
7. Eagles beat/lost to common opponents by more impressive margins
8. The only team that concerns them is Green Bay

I would like nothing more than to shut these people up. We shall see....

They are going to kick us, just like last year.

So if that past is the template for the future, then it goes the same for Philly. ZERO SUPER BOWLS. Because their past also says so

Yeah, it's interesting to see just how quickly "I'll be the first to admit it if I"m wrong!" becomes "last seen on September 13th."

Speaking of which, has anybody seen @Chocolate Lab or @Alexander around lately? I kind of miss those guys.

Dang, you are right. I hope CL is okay. And Alex too of course. But C-Lab is my boy!

Let me give you guys a TL;DR of Philadelphia radio today since I caught most of it:

History will repeat itself and Murray will get hurt and Dallas will lose when it gets cold out. Cowboys can only win games when Murray is out there, and when Romo has to throw the ball, the Cowboys suck.

Take that above information into deep consideration and be astounded by their ability to analyze football games. And that's their sports talk radio in addition to their fans. I just about wanted to tear my face off when I was listening to these guys at work.

It's true Philly will never win a super bowl, because we know history will repeat hitself. lol.

Yeah, I'm a fan of CL's, too. We don't agree on Garrett, but he's a good guy, overall. This winning streak has been tough on him, though, I think. It's probably going to mean a Garrett extension, which has to be killing him.

It says a lot that they're talking so much. I don't listen to any Dallas area radio shows....do the callers there give a rat's *** about Philly?

I was never a fan of Garrett's play calling either but with the right coordinators like Linehan and Marinelli, Garrett can concentrate on culture, media and team psychologist - all of which are strengths of his. Garrett fan or not, how could anyone who loves the Cowboys not be happy with the results so far. I am sure that isn't the reason for C-Lab's absence.

Hey, I'm a big fan, but I've never been high on his scheme overall, and I agree that he had issues as a play caller, too. So there's plenty of middle ground there. But, as you say, how can anybody not be happy with the start of this season? It's been awesome so far.

Chocolate Lab, I think, gave himself a vacation after a recent infraction. But I hope he comes back, eventually. He's a good guy and a die-hard fan.

Alexander will almost certainly post more actively once we lose again. I can't imagine he's gone for any extended period of time.

Known him for over ten years and maybe closer to fifteen. I'd suggest he is one of the bigger Cowboy fans on this or any board.

Yeah. That's why I figure he'll be back to his normal posting habits. Eventually.

He's probably just one of those guys who just enjoys all the good times so much he just doesn't know what to say about it.
