Dallas / Philly is always a SB type matchup to Philly Fans.

Great that this year both teams are performing well. It will be Mano e Mano, and may the best team ( Boys) Win............

I do enjoy hearing the lack of credit being given to Dallas in the win against NY, though. As if we didn't beat them as well as Phili did. Technically it should have been 31-14 if Dez didn't fall. Maybe even 38-14 had he stayed up and went up for that ball. Which trumps 27 points all day in my book.

Anything to make your team look better. We will have 2 games to show who is actually the better team, and if history repeats itself possibly 3 with the 3rd coming in the playoffs.

funny, given that since I've started watching football
You're actually coming to a Cowboy board and trying to depict Philly fans as something other the despicable??
Good luck with that

Michael Irvin lies motionless, Eagles cheer

more good sportsmanship

You might have more luck selling the "classy Philadelphia fan" at another, less educated board.

Irvin was before my time. And it is not like Irvin was/is a good guy. The POS stabbed a teammate with scissors because he wouldnt give up his hair appt. Frankly, if the victim hadn't been paid off by Jerry, Irvin would of been in prison not the football field.

Our accomplishments aren't similar. Beat the SB champs in their house like we did!!! Manning, Brees and Rodgers all failed to do so in their last attempt.

When you're America's Team the media is going to give you all the attention. The problem is it's positive attention and no one outside of the Cowboys fan base can stand it.

not 2013 any more. I doubt that you have beaten a playoff team yet.

Congrats
You've done a wonderful job in defining Philly sportsmanship:
"Horrific behavior becomes acceptable - if I decide that i don't like you"

Wow, that 11 year old girl must have been just a terrible person.

? I wouldnt have booed an injury, but thats me. A lot of you seemingly would boo anything Philly related.

the dude that vomited should go to prison....but you have no problem giving that teammate stabbing, arrogant, jackass a pass.

Really. Because in 2014 Manning and Rodgers failed to win in Seattle. We didn't!!! Both of those teams have good records. We're 6-1 and you can say whatever non sense you want, all I know is you're in our forum. Why? It just shows that you care about us that much. I really appreciate you taking the time to come on here and accomplish nothing.

I am just looking at their record, remaining schedule, in-division competition. I dont think the Seahawks make the playoffs. They might, but right now it seems less than 50/50.

I think both fan bases care about each other alot right now...We dont play you for more than a month - and at last count you have two threads about the Eagles close to the top of your topics...

didnt realize it was a self affirmation party here.

Of course we care about what goes on with the Eagles. Right now they shape up to be our guys' competition for the division crown. I'm not sure why you think that means we care (or should care) about the Eagles' fan base (or vice-versa).

In fact, I can quite guarantee that I have very little interest in what any given Eagles fan thinks of the Cowboys (and I'm certainly not interested in any sort of consensus view from your fanbase). That's not to say the I won't be interested in what you (or some other random Eagles fan) might have to say about the Cowboys. That'll depend on what you say and whether it's, well, interesting. Your being an Eagles fan is unlikely to ever be the cause of an interesting observation you might make about the Cowboys, though it can often be the very thing that makes such observations uninteresting.

I have a buddy who is an Eagles fan living in Central Jersey. Even he admits that it's kind of funny listening to Eagles fans and especially some of their talk show hosts.

Before the season, the mantra was Dallas stinks. Then the 49ers game happened and they said, "See, I told you Dallas stinks". Then Dallas ripped off a few wins and it was, "Well they are beating bad teams." Then they win in Seattle, "Yeah, I guess that's pretty good but probably a fluke, the Giants will probably get them in a trap game so it's all moot anyway." This week it's apparently, "The Giants stink, and Dallas will definitely give it back somewhere".

So you can see the progression with their fans and talk radio people and media. Reality is slowing setting in - Dallas is a threat to them.

Went to a beer and food paring dinner last night. (weird I know) Was wearing a Cowboy wind breaker and had a chick Eagles fan tell me she wanted to light me on fire. She was hot so I told her we would have to wrestle, she chickened out. But geeze light another human (well mostly human) on fire over being a fan of the Boys was a bit over the top for me.

Philly insight.

Born and raised there.

Went home recently and wore my Dallas Sweatshirt. Rental Car driver stopped to pick us up, took one look, and called into the counter stating " there's a cowboys fan here, who thinks he will get a ride from us" I'm moving on....

End of story

He actually pulled away, stopped and then gave me some good natured ribbing on the ride in... I took it for what it was " 2 fans getting on each other"

I don't care what Philly fans think but as long as McCoy is healthy then that offense will go. And their DL is nothing to sneeze at.

The entire north east has passionate fans, with many viewing sporting events as a place to let off steam - often times this results in unfortunate events - i.e. Cop shooting college girl in eye and killing her during riot outside Fenway... I also see drunken fights in the stands at almost every RedSox/Yankee game I go to. but of course riots/fights in Boston get swept under the rug....and I am from Boston.

Lately I have been visiting a Patriot's forum and the one thing I don't understand is their hating on Peyton Manning. Is Tom Brady a better clutch QB? - definitely, but many of the fans react to Peyton like he's the AntiChrist or Darth Vader. Peyton is a gentleman and role model. I could understand if he had the disposition of Johnny Manziel, but he's not remotely like that. Pats fans do threads on Peyton just setting a record on career TD passes, and hang-drawn-quarter him.

For some, it might feel good to vent, but how many like myself view it's grown men behaving like spiteful kindergartners being incredibly stupid.
