I know they're real high on Pierre Garcon as their #3 WR.

Really? That dude from BYU and the other guy seemed to be stealing the spot light.

I will get flamed for this, but who cares? IMO Peyton Manning is the best QB I have ever seen. He is so efficient and cerebral that I just think he's on another plateau. 64.6 career completion %? That is just nuts.

Why would you get flamed for that?

I saw alot of missed tackles from the Eagles 1st team defense so my point is that they practiced with LIVE tackling and they still have issues with the fundamentals. So far all those wanting the Boys to do live work...nowadays it's just not worth the risk - look at all the injuries the Eagles have had so far. This is what preseason is all about - shaking off the rust and evaluating depth for the season.

On a side note Stewart Bradley's replacement for this game did not do so well...and Ellis Hobbs gave up a wide open TD to R. Wayne. On the other hand D. Jackson caught a pretty ball against the backup safety for the Colts - Jenkins/Newamn/Scandy will have their hands full covering him this year.

He picked apart their secondary and made Hobbs have a terrible night

Just not a popular opinion usually when talking about a guy with 1 Super Bowl win. I just marvel at how good he really is. It's a shame he hasn't had the pieces around him others have. Like Bill Walsh as his Head Coach.

I am not bashing Dungy whom I love by saying that last line. Walsh was a legend.

Hobbs did not look good and i think the safeties are going to struggle this year.

Im not drawing any conclusions on the eagles offense as they only played 1 starting OLineman.

Eagles starting D looked pretty bad. Either they were going through the motions or they are in some trouble. Their CB's couldnt cover anyone. They even had trouble stopping the Colts 2nd teamers, led by a rookie late rd draft pick at QB.

Tom Moore and that OL coach Mudd are two of the best in the league and have been for yrs, they've been on that staff since Manning was drafted. He's played for Jim Mora and Tony Dungy, and both of them are highly regarded. So not sure I get the bolded statement.

If its players and not coaches I get it even less...he's been surrounded by probowlers his entire career.

His numbers are great, but even with the super bowl win over a mediocre Bears team, he's always come up small in the biggest games. If I have to win one game and I can choose any QB in their prime, he isnt on my list.

If this is true anyone who whines about the validity of pre-season & its results needs a banning

Nah, I thought it'd be funny to make up the most rediculous rumor in NFL history.

preseason

could be...but if our starters had played this way or do so tomorrow night, this place will be in ultra melt down mode.
