Your right about a lot of stuff...

I think a new thread in which you make 20-25 bold predictions would be fun

You know, I can't argue with you on this. There's some truth to it.

He might not break the consecutive games started streak (which is unreal and amazing) but he probably will obliterate the rest.

I think Favre feels like he's one of the best still in the game and he is. There aren't 32 better QBs than him even nearing 40. Guy is amazing.

IDK if Farve ever retires manning would have a shot at it seeing how he hasn't missed a game yet.

Who did Reggie Wayne score on? I fell asleep...

The other CB, not on Asante.

However, on the replay they showed him on the other WR and that guy beat him deep bad on the opp sideline...later, Samuel was toasted by a rookie from BYU

All of the DB's looked poor tonight in the first half.

Marino is way up there in my book of great QBs. I have never put much stock in the Montana won 4 thing. I can name 4 or 5 QBs I would take over him and I really like him. It's not a dig at him. Elway has always been the QB I consider the best ever, but Manning has now replaced him in my book.

Yeah to much importance is put on rings. However, Bradshaw doesn't get the hype Montana gets. But Elway was up there I consider Marino the best because he did a lot with very little weapons. But by the time MAnning retires I will most likely consider him the best.

Marino had a ton of great players around him. And his OL hardly ever let anyone touch him.

we'll soon see...today he's alot closer to the bottom than he is the top though IMO
I just disagree. I think he's right below the top 10 when healthy. He has to stay healthy though. I acknowledge that.

Asante got turned inside out on the 1st TD pass to Gonzalez.

Richmond Webb was a true beast at LT in those days. Marino's teams never had a D to protect him. He was great.

Not for nothing but the Eagles sure are doing a lot of tiptoeing
Not exactly an inspired performance

Did you even watch this guy play?

You dont remember his receiving corp of guys like Duper, Clayton and Nat Moore? His OL had several players who routinely made the probowl.

I did watch him play. But I was also pretty young at the time. So unless it's like cowboys stuff or really big super stars from the 90's IDK them.

Anyone else impressed with this painter guy?

I couldnt put him close to the top-10.

Just off the top of my head and in no particular order:

Romo, McNabb, Cutler, Rodgers, Warner, Hasselback, Brees, Brady, Pennington, R'Berger, Palmer, P Manning, Schaub, Rivers, E Manning, Bulger

And because of age/upside I'd take Ryan, Flacco, Stafford and Sanchez before him too.

So basically I'd take him ahead of guys in Wash, Carolina, SF, Denver, KC, Buffalo (maybe), Jacksonville, Okaland
