Hang in there PT, believe it or not this is good for you in the long run. Philly wasn't going to win the Superbowl this season; it wasn't going to happen.
McNabb's injury will force Andy Reid to run the damned football and play balanced! Their OL will start punishing teams and whoever their QB is will be asked to manage games and make a couple of key throws while the defense creates some turnovers.
That will let the Eagles go 3-3 the rest of the year and keep the roster warm for another try next season. The Eagles will then be forced to draft a running back-- I can't image they won't-- in the draft and they'll have a shot at a decent one. They'll also be forced to trade for a capable backup QB, one which can start the season knowing he's going to backup McNabb.
Next training camp The Eagles will still be forced to emphasize the run in their attack because McNabb won't be ready and certainly won't be the mobile threat he is today. When McNabb finally returns, the Eagles will be at full strength and will have a playbook full of running plays and a team capable of executing them.
That is my biggest fear for next season, and McNabb's injury might make it happen
