Honestly, some of these stats surprise me a bit. In other words, their D is sneaky good, if that makes any sense (lol).

Few stats of the Cowboys' D

Translate.......we WILL get pressure on Hurts most, if not the entire game. This is why I have been preaching we match up well/better than most other teams. We are probably 2/3 teams who can do things none of the others can.

Tomorrow’s game vs NYG will be interesting. The Giants are playing for their playoff lives— and Wink is the kind of DC that can expose some flaws through pressure and blueprint an opposing offense.

Maybe Philly comes out and dominates. Or maybe they get into a dogfight and we start to see some cracks.

Who thought the Commanders were capable of beating them a few weeks ago?

Wink's a darn good D/C but you gotta have the tools and this has been my whole argument about beating them. For example, how are they stopping BOTH elite WRs if they don't have at least one potential elite CB? What about pass rush or pressure on Hurts.....you have to do that with a front four or w/o blitzing a lot. Hell, even Hurts running.......he had less than 60 yards rushing last week against the Titans. They were determined to not let him beat them with his legs.........but he embarrassed them with his arm. We can do things other teams can't ........

Probably because there's a guy like you every off season.

The year they won the superbowl all I heard about was how they will own the division for the next several years.
Maybe, but I don't toot our opponent's horn typically.
But when an arch rival is signing quality free agents, trading for all pro WR and has a lot of draft capital due to crafty trades , I take notice.
Especially when our front office is dumping talent, signing bargin basement free agents, while sitting on 20 million in cap space.

I'm sure, but it's the same old story. If I had a dollar for every paper tiger that came out of the NFC East the last 2 decades, I'd take you to lunch. Time will tell.

Agreed, we had a very concerning off-season. It amazes me how well it worked out in spite of popular opinion (including mine.)

I am with you buddy!
Glad we are winning in spite of some of our questionable off season moves.
Hope the egirls crash and burn.

Believe they had the softest schedule in the league and it shows.

The Eagles caught up to us. The Cowboys are actually in a better position now then they were last season. Philadelphia caught a break in the schedule and the injury Gods are on their side so far. I still question Hurts and consider him a poor man’s Lamar Jackson. Looking forward to Christmas Eve.
I don’t see being second in the division as being better off.
The injury Gods were on our side last year and we did nothing with it.

The eagles are certainly a good team. I don’t think they’re any better than the Cowboys. The thing they haven’t had to do very much is come from behind depending on the arm of Jalen Hurts. I respect what Hurts has done this year and he has improved as a passer for sure.

But I would like to see how he handle a game where the eagles running game is removed by a double digit deficit in the second half. The eagles are good- but the mark of a great team is their ability to handle adversity. They haven’t had that much to overcome this year. The playoffs have adversity built into every game. We will see if they’re as good as they think they are.

I can't for the life of me figure out why this narrative is still out there.. Zeke was playing on one leg. Pollard missed 2 of the last 4 games with an injury. Collins played stiff as a board all season on his surgically repaired hip. Tyron gimped his way into the playoffs missing 4 of the last 6 games and Dak never regained confidence to plant rock and fire off his plant foot after his calf injury. So compromised at RT, LT, RB1, RB2 and QB1 is somehow seen as having the injury gods on our side? Yall apparently have a different definition of healthy that I do.

You imagine players on every team in the playoffs don’t have injuries of some sort or other?
All teams have to manage injured players.
We got well beaten at home and it wasn’t due to injuries either.

They lost by 6 points and had the ball in the 4th quarter with a chance to win. Folks need to stop acting like they were blown out in that game. And there is a difference between "manage injured players" and having guys playing at 75% of themselves or less. That was certainly the case with Zeke and Tyron.. It's fine if you don't want to acknowledge injuries.. but that doesn't change the fact that they were there and no amount of revisionist history will make the Cowboys "healthy" going into that game.

Spare me!
When MM won the SB with the Packers they lost loads of starters and were playing third stringers.
When the Eagles won their SB they lost their starting QB and Left Tackle.
So they weren’t at 75%, the just weren’t there.
So comparatively the Cowboys were healthy.
Keep fooling yourself otherwise!

They've been exceptionally quiet......no threads or even negative Daks comments lately, odd....lol.
Dak still has to win playoffs game for the dak haters to truly stop...the cowboys are either SB participant or a bust. Dak doesnt handle the pressure all that well!

The Cowboys are 9-3 and have beaten quality teams, last season at this time was the Cowboys were struggling and could not beat good teams. I mean if you want to hate on the Cowboys that is your thing. The Cowboys are clearly a top 5 team in the NFL. They were never this good last season.
