yeah but how did they wind up with those picks?
How come dallas never has 2 1st or even 2nd round picks?

thier gm is getting those picks, while ours gets a 5th for amari lol
That's one of the really depressing parts of this. Their GM somehow got an extra first when he got rid of Wentz and his massive contract, and another extra first when they traded down 2 years ago (and they still got the got the guy they wanted in Smith). Jerry really is like a child mentally when you compare him to competent GM's.

and people wonder why we complain about Jerry so much.

It's so depressing when you take a closer look at the moves competent GMs make and then you look at Jerry. He truly is playing checkers, and that's being generous.
"IF" Jerry would hire a GM, we would return to the glory days in a heartbeat. Maybe Stephen will entertain hiring a GM...but I doubt it.

Davis looks exactly like he did in college, a few nice plays when his stamina is up then fades like a cheap suit. Exactly what I saw last night from him.

The hype of Jurgens is unbelievable. Moves better than I thought but he missed some key blocks in short yardage and no one mentions it.

Dean looks to be a player.
It's incredible how much time people on this board have studied Jordan Davis's play at Georgia and now with the Eagles. We must have a lot of pro-quality scouts on here.

I didn't realize the "pros" get it right all the time.

My bad.

Because they traded Wentz while there was still perceived upside by some teams. No, I didn't agree w/ that, but it was there, and teams are desperate for a competent QB.

We do the opposite. We are apparently terrified that someone we move on from will turn out to be a good/great player. Soooo, we keep them until all hope has been exhausted.

Think about these offers that we turned down:

2nd for Mike Jenkins. And this offer was after we'd signed Carr and traded up for MO.
2nd for MartyB.
Antonio Cromartie for Tashard Choice.

And those are just the ones we know about.

Yeah, someone spewing head on TV spouts something for ratings, and fans take it for gospel, especially if it's something they want to believe.

I think you take football way too seriously. It's a game. As far as I'm concerned, the OP is a Cowboys fan. I don't agree with his premise as I think we are still head and shoulders ahead of the Eagles, especially at QB. That said, the OP is entitled to his opinion, just as you are to your own and I am to my opinion. I don't think it means war if someone makes a complimentary point to an opponent. If anything, to me, as a Cowboys fan, it highlights an area that the FO should acknowledge and make adjustments as they see fit. I'd imagine the FO would make additional countermoves if the OP ends up being correct. However, his point, to me, is far from benchable. That's like saying that it's benchable to state that the Rams have a top defence, or that the Jaguars are probably going to win only 2 games this season. It's an opinion, and, as far as I can tell, it doesn't violate any rules.
COWBOYSZONE.com

Mods made other areas non cowboy related says nfl zone , off topic zone this is Cowboyszone.. dig it? i only open this area and expect cowboy related news and opinions talking up an eagle's team is not cowboys related in fact its anti- cowboys.

nah go top eagleszopne.com be merry talking eagles this is cowboys' site , that what i signed up for this is just nonsense..not too seriously the front page is cluttered enough with NON cowboy crud, gets old..

Last year Jalen Reagor was being compared to Randy Moss in the pre-season.

It's because in this draft they didn't get cute. They just took the most talented player at their spots. Howie can often get cute such as with Reagor, taking the guy that was a better "fit" over the guy that was simply the better WR in Jefferson.
