How come dallas never has 2 1st or even 2nd round picks?

thier gm is getting those picks, while ours gets a 5th for amari lol
Heck, didn't they get a 1st rounder for Sam Bradford?

Their GM had those extra picks because he wasted like 4 picks on Wentz who was a bust… and they got a first round pick to dump him. And they had to eat a ton of dead money to do it.

‘Their GM had another first because he traded back away from the Pitts/Jamar Chase/Sewell/Parsons blue chip prospects and drafted a skinny WR… which he had to do because he chose Reagor instead of Justin Jefferson, and Reagor can’t play.

So that was their additional first round picks. And of course, they had their own high pick because they sucked the previous season.

So, I wouldn’t be bragging about how Howie got those 3 first round picks.

The Cowboys will have their hands full with the Eagles. Davis, Jurgens, and Dean oh my. Davis and Jurgens are outstanding. We sure could have used Davis and Jurgens. Too bad that they are on the Eagles.
I think you need to change your avatar picture from Rambo to Rocky. Sheesh

Lol...sorry bro. It's just because Rocky is Philthy's darling savior. Since you're prepping up those egals, well... :D:p
Hard not to talk about Davis and Jurgens after seeing them play. Looking forward to seeing Smith, Williams, Tolbert, Ferguson, Houston, Turpin, Bell, and the rest tonight.

And they still have a better roster than us.

Thou shalt not covet thy opponent's draft.

By the way, is their "excellent " draft limited to just their first two picks or does it extend to the other three players they drafted?

I don't know if I want to praise the draft of a team that continually gets the opportunities to acquire the draft position required to get these outstanding players. Besides, it's not about the quality of players that they get, it's what they achieve with those players.

The Eagles regular season record over the past four seasons is 31-33-1. In their previous four drafts I count one Pro Bowl season and 17 starting seasons.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys last four combined seasons has produced a 36-29 record and the Cowboys last four drafts have yielded two first team All Pros and four Pro Bowl seasons along with 22 starting seasons.

Considering their track records, I think I will stick with what the Cowboys got. Looking at the entirety of each daft, it's difficult to believe that their 1,2,3 and two 5's are going to trump the Cowboys 1,2,3,4, four 5's and 6

Davis looks exactly like he did in college, a few nice plays when his stamina is up then fades like a cheap suit. Exactly what I saw last night from him.

The hype of Jurgens is unbelievable. Moves better than I thought but he missed some key blocks in short yardage and no one mentions it.

Dean looks to be a player.

Eagles were smart. They knew they didn't need a lot, so they traded up for a monster in Davis. Traded one of their 1sts for a fine WR in AJ Brown, then took a very good C in Jurgens.

The only place they're still missing talent is QB.
They didn't need a lot? lol

Their secondary was roasted time and again, their LBs were not good. They need a RB as the ones they have are all overated.

We will see how this pans out, not seeing anything from Davis that i didn't see in Georgia...a few nice plays and then nothing.

Just me but don't sleep on Hurts......I don't think they're going to ask him to do a lot. Just manage the game and if we are being honest, it's not hard to see his intangibles, like Dak, are off the chart.

Cox, Hargrave, and Davis is just beyond nasty.

Gawd I hope they don't get smart and put Strong or Minshew in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will go on record as saying the winner of the battle between their defensive line and our offensive line will win the division.

Absolutely hate to say it but if Tyron goes out like he usually does or it's not 100% when we play them it's going to be really bad as it is I feel our center Biadasz may look like a run-over cartoon character before the game is over.

Davis = Dontari Poe (Dominant on occasion, but laziness will result in some bad games and some bad seasons).
- The Cowboys just need to keep him from being 1-on-1 with the OC.
- I'm not concerned about Tyler Smith or Zack Martin blocking him.
- I'll take Tyler in a Sumo match vs Davis.
- It's 330 pound Larry Allen vs 360+ pound Gilbert Brown. I'll let you guess who won that matchup.

Jurgens: Uber quick but lacked power even in college. Success might be OL scheme dependent.

Dean: Small, slow with injury issues. His college team had NFL DLinemen from 1st string to 3rd string in front of him.
- Before Clark's injury and before info about Dean's injury, I had Clark ranked above Dean.
