Don’t try to make up problems that don’t exist. Reddick indicated he did not request to be traded. He is looking for a big contract for 2025. The answer is obviously no from Philly. The Eagles are shopping Sweat. A proactive front office is a good thing, particularly for a team getting worse, not better. Hoping it indicates nefarious issues at hand is fantasy for Giants, Cowboys, and Commanders fans. The reason Philly has guys retiring after 10+ years indicates they’re a franchise willing to pay for good performance. But you can’t keep everyone you’d like. Hurts’ new deal commences March 18. They seem to be dealing with their new reality. At least they’re dealing with it.

You build your OL starting at C then LT. Tom Landry had 3 centers in his 30 years Manders, Fitzgerald, and Rafferty. He had 2 DTs in Lilly and White. Jimmy Johnson drafted Aikman overall and followed up with his next No.1 overall pick Landry style with Russell Maryland.

Parcells implemented his defense with 1st rounders Ware and Spears. He solved his OL problems by moving Gurode to C. Unless you are Jerry Dumbo GM Jones, this is not rocket science.

In Jerry's defense.....he invested 1st rounders in Fredericks, Martin, Tyron and Tyler Smith....Mazi and Micah are 1st rounders...I don't think its the compensation that's the problem I think its finding the actual talent lol.

1. The Eagles get worse, not better, as they move on without Kelsey, Cox, Riddick, and Sweat And maybe more.
2. Difference #1 - they started drafting OL and DL replacements before they needed to so they had depth and know who’s ready to step in and who isn’t, while Dallas waits until Tyron is injured or Frederick retires or LVE is injured and then tries to patch it in season or with rookies the next year.
3. Difference #2 - The Eagles have 8 draft picks to our 6, which includes compensatory picks. They select before us in all but the 3rd round. They have 2 second round and 3 fifth round picks, all coming before our single picks in those two rounds. We don’t even have the ammunition to move around much in the draft.

If there was ever a year to be active in free agency to fix our issues at LB, DT, CB depth, C, OT, RB, this is it, because the draft is not going to provide all the answers.

Cox retiring and center Kelce retiring hmmm. Something is floating around that locker room and players have had enough. Both of those guys can still play. Eagles are also shopping other defensive players.

Ol' Nicky Sirianni might not make it through the season if Philly struggles, they ran out of patience a little bit with him, this might be his last chance.

Cox is another phenomenal player - or he was. He still has it for a few plays but the rest of the NFCE is grateful for his retirement.

He owned us his entire career it seemed.
