Yeah you're right can't win with a QB who had a QB rating of over 108.

Well the problem is the same thought process that led to your ill advised username here caused you to say that.

You have to look inside those numbers. Weeden is running a very conservative short passing game. Which can lead to some good stats to distract the easily distracted but it also severely limits your offense.

Quick show of hands. Who thinks our offense has looked good these last two games? Cmon...the QB has a passer rating over 100!

Brandon Weeden is a bum. A loser. He's done here what he's always done in the NFL. Lose. And he'll continue to do it until he's mercifully taken off the field. Hopefully to never be seen again.

Cowboys vs Purdue right now and I'm taking the Boilermakers outright.

Ok I'm just working this out off the top of my head but say they win those two games we'd be at four wins then say when Romo comes back he leads us to winning five of the last six so that puts us right at 9-7 and in a tie with NY with things going to tie breakers.... I hate tie breakers

Your math is off. It'd be 7 games with Romo.

It may be true but our Runningbacks are a huge let down. I can honestly say I expected worse from weeden and more from our RB's .

Losing last night sucks, no matter how we look at it, but the fact was it was Brees against Weeden in a QB driven league. I think the Pats and Seahawks games are losses, no matter how we slice them (it sucks that the cheater can play... :-/) so we need to win 2 out of our other 3 games. Bradford looks worse than most backups right now (and throughout most of his career), our defense beat the Giants before and they should be healthier next time around, and Winston is a rookie looking like one and playing like one. 4-5 with Romo back and some very winnable games ahead (Bills look beatable, Phins are in a horrible state, we can beat the Panthers, Skins twice lol, Jets look pretty bad, that leaves the Packers in GB... not easy). We can get to a 9-7 record if we can go 4-5 into the last 7 games, and I think a 9-7 record will win the East this year (especially if we can get the tiebreakers... like say... with a 5-1+ division record). Let's not lose hope yet... even if we lose this week.

Literally posted this almost simultaneously. Good show.

24 points per game with Weeden, 23.5 PPG without him lol. Yes Weeden has been throwing it underneath almost exclusively, but without Dez who would you have him consistently throw deep to and how exactly are Winston and Bradford looking better than he is?

No question that the RBs suck too.

We currently trot out one of the worst group of skill position players in the league.

What else do you expect? Who on this Cowboys offense is a consistent playmaker at wide receiver? Who is getting consistent seperation than can get down the field and make big plays? Go ahead. I'll wait.

NOBODY. There is no choice, but to have a short conservative passing game and with that said Weeden still took shots down the field and hit Brice Butler who would've scored if not for his hammy injury. He threw a perfect deep to Terrance Williams, but he couldn't win on his route and was caught trying to engage into a hand fight with the much slower DB instead of getting up field and if he had it would've been an easy touchdown. How about later in the game when Street was wide open and had no idea where he was on the field. If he had it would've been a first down and the Cowboys would've been on the cusp of putting more points on the field. How about Gachkar not getting off the field in time and Dallas getting penalized for 12 men on the field or him not staying down after getting hurt in overtime which would've resulted in the refs stopping the game and given the defense time to match up. I love how you neglect to mention Weeden's great final drive when he brought Dallas back when it looked like New Orleans might run away with the game. On 4th and 7 with the game hanging in the balance he threw a perfect pass to Terrance who finally made a play.

I'm not even counting out winning against the Pats and/or Seahawks. Sure, on paper, the Pats should tie a 40-burger on us and the Seahawks should shut down our offense and make it a low scoring affair, but we're due a few overachieving games this season to balance out the universe.

Call me crazy (I'll go ahead and say I am that before anyone), but this team has found ways of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory oh so often, but every once in awhile...the moons align and the turnovers start raining down like a monsoon in our favor. While everyone is pointing fingers at poor coaching, bad playing, injuries....I point to the fact that we've had a drought in turnovers. It's not out of the realm to have a few lucky games fall into our laps like the Eagles did last year when their Defense/ST outscored their anemic Offense.

But yeah...I'll be out in the alley drinking tub gin with my pet rat this Sunday if anyone wants anymore advice on how to look desperation in the eye and tell it to jog off.

I can't see us beating the Pats... their offense is just too good... but I could see us beating the Seahawks in a defense dominated game.

Calling it now, we're beating the Patriots. Just because it's so highly unlikely and this team is just weird like that.

I'm not ready to count that seattle game a loss yet . If we score over 20 points in that game I say it's 50/50 we win. I'm not convinced they're a good football team. I think our DL could dominate their offense , keep Wilson in the pocket , and maybe we pull together a couple nice drives.

Laugh, but at least McFadden doesn't mouth off to the coaches like that idiot Randle did.

Don't think he's a starting caliber back either, but he's our best option at this point.
