I just hope these stubborn old guys don’t ignore the TE position again next year trying to prove that they were so smart to draft Schultz. Sort of the same reason JG still has a job all these years later.

We can sign Earl Thomas in the offseason.

There isn’t a ET or TEs that I know about being a free agent this year.

Seems like it is a weak draft for quite a few positions. We got our 1s rounder early, just hope he does make that difference.
There are some decent DT's though. Maybe they don't mind spending a 2nd round on one.

But as you said, they are too stubborn thinking they are out smarting everyone, when they out dumb themselves.
Day 3 last year was a total waste. I said it then, and I am sticking to it.

I think if Wentz fulfills his potential he can be one of the best QB's in the league. I'm not sure if he will do that or not.

But I do think its corny how the same criticisms that are made of Dak are ignored when it comes to other young qb's in this league. So while you may feel he's a "decent margin" better then Dak.....if I'm basing it on what I've seen today?He's making the same exact mistakes Dak does.The only difference he's going throw into tighter windows and if the Jags were a real team they would be losing this game. They dropped a pick and the other pick only resulted in 3 points.

I'm not going to judge Wentz this early in his career just like I won't Dak....but that doesn't seem to be something most like to do around here.

Because those criticisms of Dak are based on multiple mistakes. Sure, Wentz and any other great QB makes mistakes. But generally, they make less than Dak.

Hence why other QBs are statistically better. They make less mistakes.

Bortles ranks 39th in QBR .

Eli Manning ranks 26th , and Wentz ranks 13th (better than brady at 20th) .

I actually think the NYG win today too. The skins aren’t good, they will shut down Barkley but I think the gnats put up some points anyway. This rivalry always seems to go to the underdog. In years the Skins needed the win and the gnats we’re out of it, the gnats would pull the upset.
