He needs to coach like he did when he was the interim coach back in 2010 that got him 5 wins playing with 2 backup QBs. The Cowboys had nothing to lose when Garrett took over at mid season in 2010 so he threw caution to the wind. He had his team play loose and take some chances and it turned out to be the best football the Cowboys played under him until last season. The Cowboys went from 1-7 with some of those games under Romo to 5-3 with a couple of backup QBs. Garrett had the team play aggressive especially on defense which started forcing some turnovers. We forced 4 turnovers against a Peyton Manning led Colts team leading to an OT win. We all wondered where had this been all season? Garrett's first full season as the HC in 2011 he immediately started playing not to lose and it helped cost the Cowboys a couple of games they had won vs NE and AZ.

.
Actually he was 4-4 The eagles game that year would have been a loss, but they did not play their starters, if they had , they would have beat dallas
bad.
McGee played qb that game and barely won 14-13
So JG was actually .500 that year too.
But I agree he did call a different game, but also jerry had just threatened all the players, that if they didnt pick it up they might not be here the next
year.

That's in part because the schedule makers love to give them a bye right before us.

But I guess we can't complain too much this season. After all, they gave us the Giants on a short week after our bye.

Why the NFL doesn't have an entire division have a bye on the same week, followed by 2 division game after is beyond me. That avoids the issue of having a team having a 2 week break and not the other team.

It would be so much more fair to have 2 division games played after all teams had a bye at the same time.

Bradford doesn't like to get hit. Dallas hit him a lot without Hardy and Gregory.

Get to Bradford, and this will be a victory.

This is absolutely spot on -- we need to butcher that guy, we need to make him curl up into a little ball and cry. Gregory's ankle better be fully healed THIS week or I'm going to curl up into a little ball and cry. LOL.

Common sense. Will the defensive staff adopt it? Stay tuned, because we have a way of not attacking and exploiting other team's weaknesses. That always amazed me.

There is a part of me that wants to send everything AND the kitchen sink at him on nearly every play, even if it exposes us on the back end. That team must pay and he must be the payer -- I want to see him crawling off the field at game's end.

Actually he was 5-3. Regardless that the Eagles didn't play their starters the Cowboys still won. There's no guarantees the Eagles would have won that game playing their starters. Under Garrett as the interim the Cowboys won 4 games against teams playing their starters including a win over the Colts and Peyton Manning.

You're wrong. How many Eagles fans posing as Cowboys fans till the quota is filled?

You really need to knock off the agenda. You think half the membership here is posing as Cowboy fans. You're becoming about as tiring as the guy who screams Romo hater at everyone. lol

Who's better besides Brady and Rodgers?

With the way Rodgers has played this year I wouldn't even put him above Romo.

Nobody.

Romo was the MVP last year and got robbed. I don't know what more evidence you need to see he's the most valuable player in the league. Even Brady and Rodgers' teams have won games without them and we can't win one game.

Romo is the best quarterback in the league.

Love to see Rodgers and Brady win a SB with an incompetent owner, GM, and coaching staff.

Stop it. Rodgers is better than Romo and I don't think it's even debatable. That's not to discredit Romo, but let's get serious.

Kiko will probably go down before the 4th anyway so he's not an issue.

Great argument.

I'll take Romo.

Yeah Rodgers is more talented, but Romo has done more with less.

How many times has Rodgers had to carry a team from behind? In fact he's been pretty pedestrian at having to comeback. He's had one of the best coaching staffs in the league that have an actual offensive scheme in place so he doesn't have to do as much to get the ball down field as opposed to Romo who has basically been our offensive coordinator for years. Green Bay's defense has never really been elite statistically in years, but they've always been one of the best teams in terms of takeaways and getting timely stops unlike the Cowboys defense that has coughed up lead after lead that Tony has nearly routinely given them. Rodgers wouldn't have a ring either if he had to carry this team every season and had a staff that had no element of creativity. Why do you think he always has recievers WIDE OPEN? Because they have an actual scheme, creativity, and deception in their offense. Something Jason Garrett is clueless about.

Talk about living in the moment he has one bad game against Denver and all of a sudden he's having a bad year? lol Other than the Denver game and not being real sharp vs St Louis he's been terrific this season. He's thrown 14 TD's including 5 vs KC and has only thrown 2 INT's. He's had passer ratings of 140.5, 116.9, 138.5 and 107.7.

You don't think I'm a Cowboys fan you've questioned my fandom many times which shows how lost you are. I'm curious what makes me a troll in your opinion?

The Cowboys are pretty healthy, too. Well, except for one important guy.

A team that will lose 5 straight without its regular QB maybe is not such a good team after all. the average fan on the street would think that maybe, just maybe, a team without its regular QB could win maybe 1 out of 5. But nooooo.
