The Philadelphia/Dallas off seasons keep going in opposite directions.
The funny thing is,...despite what Eagles/Lurie/their decision makers have done over the last 20 years....reloading multiple times, with multiple franchise QBs, over and over....and playing in a 3rd of all Championship games this century....while WE haven't gotten to a single one,... a significant number of fans in here STILL aren't bright enough to know Philly is doing exactly what they want to do with the guys they're chosing to let walk, with a plan that's proven to work, and laughing at Philly instead of watching and trying to understand/learn the logic they employ, while once again, for the 27th time in a row, buying into the Jerruh offseason plan, that for decades has been proven to NOT work...it's really amazing.

But yeah...those goofey Eagles letting guards and safeties and proBowl RBs and 30 year old players walk instead of blindly resigning them, HAHAHA at them!!! They need to be watching what Jerruh and Fredo and us here are doing, as I think our track record in Big D over the last 3 decades sure seems like a strategy the rest of the league should be trying to emulate!!! LOL

The comment was about THIS off season, the last week. Not last year, 5 years ago, or 20 years ago. This week.

Philadelphia has resigned 36 year old Kelce to a three year deal. 33 year old Cox to a three year deal. 35 year old Graham to a 5 year deal voidable after 1 year but creating 19 million in dead money. Not blindly signing 30 year old players, really.

The Dallas off season has gone better than anyone thought. Hoping for a great draft to top off this period.

We've been making comments about "this year" for 27 years.

Should we not step back and look at trends, and learn from history?

Should we put blinders on and just focus on a couple of signings for guys at the end of their careers, and pat ourselves on the backs, and mock Philly, without REALLY studying their blueprint? I just don't get it.

But to each his own. They say ignorance is bliss.... and maybe that explains all the bluss I see around here.

You disagree? They’ve lost 5 starters on defense.
I said that before they lost cjg.

But even still. Who will be missed? Hargrave for sure, CJG…Who else? They’ve already replaced one of the linebackers in free agency… The other likely would’ve lost his job to The naKobe Dean kid. The other starter was that Epps kid… Hardly a pro bowler.

I expect that with two first rounders, including the 10th overall pick, their D will be just fine come September.

My biggest fear right now is that Jalen Carter falls to them at 10…
