Eagles might move Lane Johnson to LT this weekend

I saw that Philadelphia's Howard Eskin has stated that Peters is out for this game and that Johnson would be playing LT. Consider the source and take that information for what it's worth.

If Dallas was really serious about winning this game they would have traded Weeden to Philly for a three day old philly cheese steak !!!!

Lane Johnson is a better than average tackle. He can hold his own against any of our defensive front.

He's a good NFL OT. That's not in question. But you're taking away a top 5 LT in Peters and replacing him with a guy who hasn't played the position much if at all at the NFL level. And you're putting a scrub in at RT. Not saying it will lead to anything significant in Dallas' favor in Sunday's game. But this definitely weakens Phillys OL.

Moving Lane compromises both T spots. You basically put him in a position to be mauled while having an inconsistent T at the RT spot. This will impact their east to west run attack and that pocket will be collapsing often. I just hope we're not playing 10-12 yards off or we'll be getting beat by their predictable crossing routes.

Exactly. I think it has very little to actually do with Johnson and far more to do with who plays the other side. They're going to move Hardy around and Lawrence has been no slouch the last 3-4 games. He has really made some plays. Lastly, Johnson can't handle pure speed rushers, that's why he plays the right side--Gregory is going to eat him alive.

Dallas needs to try some different things like winning a game !!

Not comparing the players in the least but this would be similiar to smith going down and us moving free to LT and plugging in Charlie Brown at right tackle . They, like we would be, are weaker at two position if this unfolds

Hopefully this is the game where Gregory gets 20 + snaps,

Don't matter who they play. This team still won't get a sack!

I knew it didn't matter who was hurt. It would have been better if Peters played.

Lee goes out, the Eagles target his backup immediately and score. We don't make anyone pay for injuries

Lane Johnson destroyed Hardy all night. What else is incredible is that you let this guy dominate the other side too

That's not good.
